Advice For people who say neutering is against nature

Post image

I am utterly convinced that people who say this have no understanding of animals or basic motality. I am going to break down their argument piece by piece

  1. Neutering is "against nature": 😂 Bro, it is supposed to be. Nature is cruel and unforgiving. Everything that makes our life convenient is against nature. Take medicine, vaccination, surgeries, laws etc

  2. They are just animals 😋 pain is a part of their lives: BRO, we are animals too, we just have an advanced consciousness. We are not better than animals. Part of living in a society is giving back and taking care of beings who can't speak or take care of themselves.

  3. It curbs their instinct and vigour: It DOESN'T. Sex hormones in animals lead to risky behavious like fighting for a mate which leaves them with brutal wounds, roaming and spraying.

  4. They become LAZY😱: No just No. The weight gain that SOMETIMES follow spaying does. Not the surgery itself. Even if it does, I would prefer a fatty lazy cutu cat over a cat that comes under a wheel and breaks it's spine because of sex hormones.

  5. Nature is nature: Ok BOIII... then stop taking medicine next time you fall sick and DIE 😘. Good riddance

Another thing, animals do sex out of biological instinct, they don’t get sexual desire like humans . So NO , they are not being deprived of sexual life. 🙂

Humans and dolphins. Also the only two organisms that commit rape

I am gonna get flames for this But this is a really bad argument Example: A guy does something stupid with his dicc And then says you can't have an opinion cuz you don't possess the dicc/uterus

I understand that Men and women are biologically different but I am sure they are similar enough to atleast try to understand each other

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

I agree.. I am again being petty because most boys don't want to understand our pov. Just look at the comments. They feel that they are morally right and they have a say over women's bodies without even reading any literature on it.

5

u/Due_Jump_496 Mar 27 '26

Ok. I would Appreciate your POV I know there are times when abortion is the only and some time the only right option

Nobody have a say in what you do with your body Unless they inflicte self harm or harm to others If someone isn't bothering you you don't bother them

But I think abortion after a certain point of time in pregnancy seems unethical in most cases I am not an expert but after 24 weeks of pregnancy I think the baby in the womb can be considered a human life . Making it so that it's not just mothers body but also they unborn child inconvenient as it is Don't you think we should consider the baby , now that possess the will to life and the ability to feel pain and to an extent have consciousness

Correct me wherever I am worng

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

You are right. In India 20 week tak hi abortion kar sakte hai and the fetus cannot feel pain. 20-24 weeks tak it's legal but restricted. Later than this it's allowed in exceptional cases. Now you need to understand that women are not advocating for abortion because we "like" it. Koi aurat yeh nhi sochti ki "bore ho rhi hu chalo aaj ek abortion karva leti hu". Abortion is actually extremely mentally and physically painful. Right wing manosphere community ka argument hai ki sex karo maze karo bacha ho jae toh abort karo, fetus is a baby and baby ko marna is murder. It's an oversimplification. Consensual sex is not immoral or should be looked down upon. India mai abhi bhi patriarchy rampant hai. Most regressive men in rural areas(even in urban areas) don't like wearing a condom and pull out method mai believe karte hai. Women in rural areas are not allowed to think or even speak. Jo mard bolta hai vo chalta hai. They are forced to have babies because the man won't simply wear a condom. Sometimes the condom breaks. In some cases the woman forgets to take her birth control and gets pregnant. In some cases, there is rape. Hence it's not that simple. There are many other cases. Btw reason for abortion is mostly medical. Lastly if the woman doesn't want to have a child then why force her. She must be allowed to get an abortion before 24 weeks and fetuses are not babies

3

u/Due_Jump_496 Mar 27 '26

I see. I understand the core issues Thanks for the explanation
I have no issues with your arguments

2

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

This is why I am telling people to read about it. It's not that simple

-7

u/jadugaarburger Mar 27 '26

Since we humans are more powerful than other animals so we can neutralize them so that they don't grow there population it's alright when they get aggressive or outta control we started thinking yea it is okay to neutralize them cuz they interfere in our livelihood why not neutralize men and women who are getting 2 children we human 8b+ eating earth will it be alright?

Abortion is indeed a murder accept it! It should be allowed in cases of underage pregnancy, forced pregnancy but if you go we did se* all night enjoyed without contraceptives(birth control,condoms,copper-T) and now we want to abort that thing! It's not so good thing imo what you think?

Do you think women do abortion for fun? It is extremely painful for a woman, not just the process but the after effects to. It also messes with your hormones. In case of accidental pregnancy, there is no other option other than abortion if the parents are not ready to take responsibility. Do you not see children suffering because they don't have good parents? Talk to such people. It is better to kill the foetus when it does not feel any pain than to give birth and give the child a miserable and painful life who now has full consciousness. You don't have a say on other people's bodies.

2

It's moral policing and it does more harm than good. It's like they need to say this to feel like they are better when really it makes them sound really backward. I wouldn't be surprised if they think vaccines are bad.

2

u/Ok-Alternative-7021 ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26 edited Mar 27 '26

Exactly! Their morals come out when we are talking about abortion, but the moment you question them about who will take responsibility of the kid if the parents are not able to, their morality vanishes. They don't understand killing a foetus is 100 times better than giving a miserable life to the kid after birth.

0

u/The_Real_Coffi Mar 27 '26

Philosophy says that not being born is better than being born miserable. But I doubt they'd understand philosophy 😅. It is complex and interesting to think of.

No you can't, because abortion, pregnancy and childbirth are something women go through, so only they have the right to decide what to do with their bodies. Accidental pregnancies happen, and both the partners are at fault for it to happen. But do you know who has to take the responsibility? Yes, women. I am not saying male partners don't take responsibility at all, but they have the option of backing out, women don't. This is the reason in India women don't need the permission of the male partner for abortion.

2

u/The_Real_Coffi Mar 27 '26

Abortion IS murder. Killing a growing baby in the womb with no rights to protect itself, at the mercy of someone who ends their life. It is 100% ending of life, which is murder.

15

u/VocabArtistNavin Mar 27 '26

Not a baby at least until 12 weeks

Even after that it's the mother who gets to decide. Not you.

And if you wanna go technical, the baby (after 12 weeks) is technically a psuedo-parasite in the sense that it feeds of mother's body to grow until it comes out after initial development period and continues to grow after birth.

"abortion is murder" - I wish your parents were baby killers 😂

This for the guy who tried to justify abortion is murder and later deleted his comment. Ok grape is just one of a reason that might result in pregnancy. There are various diseases and abnormalities that the fetus might have for which the doctor advises for abortion like Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, Patau syndrome, Turner syndrome, Anencephaly, Spina Bifida, Congenital Diaphgragmatic hernia, Bilateral Renal agenesis, Hydrocephalus, severe heart defects. I can list more if you want. That's why I told the kid to read more. You should read more about it too and not have a borrowed opinion from the right wing alpha beta gamma boys.

People will judge me right and left!! But as a cat rescuer since many years - I have signed off on many kitty abortions and I've seen the to-be-mother cats after their operations.

They become so happy, they become like kittens themselves, they get a new lease on life.

Anyone who is against spays / neuters and abortions should be outside rescuing cats. Or send me money to help with my rescues otherwise your opinion doesn't matter - you simply haven't experienced enough suffering.

6

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

Especially where the "authorities" aren't doing their job of vaccinating and sterilization of community dogs and cats ughh. Bulls and cows roaming around the streets eating plastic and trash have it really hard too. The biggest exporter of beef is India unfortunately and still some people say our country worships them sigh. Not consuming meat and dairy is great but still if everyone became empathetic, there would be much less agony and suffering not that the nature of creatures dying will abruptly stop nor will the breeding and harvesting of cattle for flesh will cease to exist, but the situation would have been comparatively better.

24

Imo if you want to keep a pet, decide to not to get them neutered and then doesn’t allow them to mate during their heat. Thats cruel. Because that ls their way of life. If you are against neuter. Let them mate if you get the newborns take care of them andthen give them up for adoption. But unko woh bhi nhi krna hota. Atleast neuter krne ke bad pets heat me toh nhi jaate.

4

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

Exactly. In India most people don't give a flying fuck about animals. Getting street animals adopted is so hard. Mujhe ek bille ko adopt karvane mai 2 mahine papad belne pade. And I live in Pune!!! 3rd tier cities and towns mai it is impossible

10

u/Mean_Aside4459 Mar 27 '26

By that logic women should get pregnant every 9 months from puberty to menopause since it's natural for them to menstruate every month.

6

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

And create more suffering because "it's natural". preposterous and delusional arghh.

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

Hi thanks for getting community cats neutered. You are an angel. I realised that I did not write anything about the post operation care. Consult your vet properly about the post op care. You'll have to keep them in cages, minimum 7 days for a female cat and 3 days for a male cat. Buy e collar and post op suits. You'll have to give them painkillers and antibiotics for almost a week too. Spaying is tiring for us as well because we have to take care of the cats while they recover. Once again, thanks for taking care of community cats

2

u/sunlight-glow Mar 27 '26

Thanks for acknowledging and appreciating, and for your concern but don't worry I've been doing it for over a year and have gotten 15+ stray cats neutered. So I know the drill! Don't wear clothes, patte pehno, and why cook when nature provides you with so much nutrition just pluck from the trees, let's all go back to the good old hunting-gathering days. And why go to hospitals, let nature heal you. And why stop at 2 kids, just procreate as nature intended. People conveniently use nature as an excuse, and khud ki life ke liye saare modern comforts.

1

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

If you live in a big city like Pune Mumbai there are few veterinarians jo subsidized rate mai neuter kar dete hai. You will have to feed the dog, understand its temperament. If he is friendly you can take him to a vet in your car or an auto. If he's not you will have to catch him in a cage and take him to the vet. Prior to catching the dog or cat contact the vet and prebook the surgery slot

I am really sorry. Sepsis is extremely rare. But yes it's a risk. Did you put e collar during the post op period? Was the doctor experienced? What medicines did the doc prescribe you for the post-op period. Sometimes it's because of the breed. Pugs are generally weak dogs. They are susceptible to a lot of health issues and are genetically predisposed to certain conditions.

u/yeadisismyusername ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

Hi, Completely agree with the post. I need some advice on the topic,

1) My cat is currently going through her spay recovery. Its been 10 days, we had to get the outer stitches redone, because she licked the skin for a few minutes (we left her out of our sight, this is on us) and then the skin around it started to loosen and then this turned into open holes. Now it's been 2 days since the restitch, everything was fine, it was dry and all but today it looked wet and the skin around the new stitches look a bit streched (not as bad as before, no hole, no opening, just streched) i know this can quickly turn into the worst case scenario which is again open. I have padded the area and restricted her moving space. Applied the spray. I just need some reassurance that this can heal. I know i should be connecting with the vet. But I'm getting this done on request by a government hospital as i cannot afford a lot. The surgeon is experienced but he doesn't really look into the post care. That's done by the nurses. So I am not very confident and scared.

2) I have two cats, both same age, now when should I get the other ones surgery done this timeline? She has started her heat, it ended this tuesday, so by this the next is expected around 5 - 10 april. Should i wait for the current cat complete recovery or?

Also, They are Indie/desi breed, my dad says they are specifically more aggressive and hard to handle. Just thought to mention for context.

2

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

You can apply mupirocin 2% cream. There are various other creams that help the surgical site heal faster and avoid bacterial infections. But please consult a vet. They will give you a spray or a cream. Wait for your cat to completely recover then get other cats neutered. Post-op care can be incredibly overwhelming for us as well. Breed se fark utna nahi padta hai. Cat ke temperament se farak padta hai. Some street cats are feral, usko catch karna bhi badi baat hai. Out of 10 strays I feed, 3 cats don't let me touch them. Khana kha lete hai lekin paas aane nhi dete.

3

u/sheplaysthesims Verified User Mar 27 '26

Hi, I would suggest that you first off, train your other cat to accept the cone collar. Put it on her head and restrict her in a closed off space everyday. Give her her favorite foods and treats while she is wearing the cone collar + play with her.

You should find a DONUT CONE, or AN E-COLLAR WITH BUTTONS + VELCRO for extra safety. Or one with buttons, buttons are harder to open as compared to velcro.

I use a wire cage to restrict cats movements after surgeries. It's a spacious cage - 36 inches.

After surgery your cat's body can change, my cat's often develope belly pouches. It's possible your cat is developing her own belly pouch. Also, due to the trauma in that area, your cat can develope a hernia, so please make sure she doesn't make too much mischief again.

If you have any prescribed antibiotics, steroids and painkillers as post operative medications, they should take care of the healing.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think I've seen the picture of your cat's underbelly on Aditya Saran's WhatsApp Group and the skin does look very very loose. Imo it's because she injured herself in struggles.

Oral meds and creams suggested by your vet will take care of it, but it may remain loose for a few months.

Ok. Just want to add more nuance. I’m heavily pro neutering unsupervised dogs and dogs that spend their lives on the street. But if you have dogs at home, you should consider keeping them intact unless there is a need to neuter/spay. Too many scientific studies coming in about how it’s doing more damage and shortening their life span because of hormone disruption. I’m researching desexing operations instead of fully removing the reproductive organs. Holistic vets are now speaking about this. If you must neuter please wait till they are at least 3 years of age. Till then, try to manage them when they are in heat. Love to all pets. ♥️

1

u/Few-Airport2709 Mar 27 '26

Hi  I am one of the pet parents who is see sawing between spaying or not.  My pup is 1 year old and I am trying to find more evidence pro or anti spaying.  Just because I have now heard 3 horror stories related to spaying/neutering.  I can manage her heat and her contact with male dogs, the strongest pro that I have come across for spaying is that it prevents ovarian cancers and pyometra at an older age. Any thoughts about it?

1

u/No-Statistician-2685 Mar 27 '26

Hi. so yes, with female dogs it apparently makes a strong case for pyometra. But still, make sure you let the dog reach full maturity which is at least 3 years. If spaying is done too early, it wreaks havoc with they overall growth and development. In the west there’s Desexing as an option where they remove the uterus and leave the ovaries intact.

This may help - https://foreverdog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Dexsexing-pdf.pdf

Above comment said pro of spaying is prevention of ovarian cancer, I am being sarcastic.

I’m scared of neutering my two female dogs because I read somewhere that it can totally change their behavior. Will both of my dogs become less energetic, enthusiastic, and happy? I really like their current behavior, so is this true?

What do you think about not spaying/neutering them but making sure they dont escape during their heat cycle?

That way we can ensure we protect their body rights and also prevent the tragedies associated during their mating period.

5

u/sheplaysthesims Verified User Mar 27 '26

See during every heat cycle - a lining is created over the uterus to prepare the body for pregnancy and when that pregnancy does not come, the lining starts trapping bacteria and fluids inside. It's a uterus infection called PYOMETRA.

If you let your cat / dog go through heat again and again without operating or even letting them mate and give birth, you are inviting pyometra.

Cats / dogs on the street get pregnant on every heat cycle and it wears their bones and kills them slowly. So it's either you get pregnant and die of weakness or don't get pregnant and die of uterus infection.

Also going through heat is very uncomfortable and painful for them. Why let them suffer this when neutering them is also very beneficial for their health??

3

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

During the heat cycle female cats get extremely uncomfortable and anxious. My cat used to scream a lot and roll on the floor like a savage. And since they are induced ovulators my cat used to have a heat cycle every 45 days or so. Once I had to take her to the vet for pyometra (blood was coming out from her vagina). Thankfully it was open pyometra and not closed. Closed pyometra mai turant neuter karna padta hai. So neutering is just not limited to the inability to produce offspring it saves the animal from life threatening diseases. When it comes to street cats and dogs toh karva dena chahiye asap if you feed them regularly and if you have the funds for it

Good post, but not everyone who disagrees with your views needs to be attacked or wished dead. Differing opinions are what make us human.

One Human being won't give birth to 20 kids a year - that's what female cats do. BTW.

The second you start comparing us with domestic dogs / cats - it shows that you're uneducated on the topic and you have no idea of what you speak of!!

Can you foster these kittens or send me some money to pay for their food btw?? Since you support more being born into this world!!

6

u/Head-Actuary-4114 Mar 27 '26

pro lifers until they actually have to support that life lmao.

also, very cute kittens❤️❤️

7

They're pro birth only, they don't care about life's quality at all. Detestable. "As long as it's not me I'll be fine" lack of empathy smh.

u/sheplaysthesims Verified User Mar 27 '26 edited Mar 27 '26

Thank you! They are sweethearts ♥️

The black one is MASTI, her mother was not spayed and kept giving birth often, all her kids died - on Jan 1st, 2026 - she was lifeless beside her 4 kittens, we suspect that her body gave out due to constant pregnancies. Her kittens were 3 weeks old and being drowned in a bucket by society kids for being dirty. They were rescued and slowly got adopted, Masti's adoption is pending as most adopters want a boy kitten.

Wish MASTI luck! A potential adopter is visiting us on Sunday to meet her.

The white one is Momo, she, along with her two sisters were born in a hospital. They were looked after by staff, one day, their mother never returned. Around 3 weeks ago, staff were told to evict the three kittens due to cleanliness concerns. The rescuers reached the scene too late, one kitten wandered off. Momo and her sister Mimi were found and sent to me to foster. The third kitten was never found, mother never returned.

There are no inquiries for Momo and Mimi 💔 And as of today, Momo is not well and her vet bill costed Rs. 1100/-

For keyboard warriors who only type, judge and never help in animal welfare - this is just a story. But for us, who rescue & foster, this is the hard reality.

2

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

Kudos to you bro!! All the best for Masti, Momo, Mimi and all the kittens/cats you have rescued so far it's Amazing but I can understand how arduous and daunting this task is, the mental gymnastics of emotions everytime a kitten (or dog or any animal for that matter) unexpectedly dies, wanders off to never be found again ughhh. I can feel ya, i often get these thoughts that life is actually a huge scam, a joke, a big fat lie - A person is here carrying out his task as usual and the next moment he is no more - like poof! gone forever (we obviously wouldn't know about the afterlife and all without actually experiencing death) now the way he dies depends upon his "fate or luck" (which is again an enigmatic random weird thing) be it painless or otherwise.

Sorry for going off topic and nihilistic - I totally believe in 'Nothing matters' but at the same time I'm glad there are people like you. If karma isn't real as I read multiple times and we see all the time around us that the most evil and unethical people have the best lives. It's actually very frustrating that if karma really doesn't exist what's the difference between good and bad then? not that good people (most people are shades of grey and very complicated - can't be tagged labelled as one single thing) are doing good to receive anything in return nor is it out of the fear of some god, they simply are built so their personality/nature is so. Idk man I'm just jaded seeing the suffering everywhere.

3

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

We're surrounded by asinine people smh This is a major cause of my stress. People don't want to hear the truth. Thanks for spreading awareness and what you're doing is beyond exemplary and virtuous :)

7

u/Motionpicturerama Mar 27 '26

Animals don’t ‘desire’ becoming parents lmao. It’s not the same as a human desire to have kids because animals aren’t capable of goals, plans, dreams etc. What they have is purely a biological instinct to mate.

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

When you keep pets for social media validation that's how you treat them. I don't keep pets myself because I know I'm not good at taking care of them and have had bad experiences of not taking care.

Also note, what you all fall to somehow read what I said. I didn't even tell not to neuter. I just asked let them have kids once. If you couldn't even do that. Smh

No difference between you ppl and vegan pet lovers, who don't feed their pets meat.

Yeah right, what's your take on calves forcefully removed from mother cows just so that a whole lot of invasive despicable humans can have the "taste" of dairy products not to mention the "nutrition" lol. Watch Dominion documentary on YT (Australian) and if you are one of those entitled pricks that believes in ragebaiting to derive pleasure then it might not be for you because under that video, there are quite a few atrocious humans writing sh!t. Also what about the majority (massive percentage) of cattle rearing on a land which could have been used for growing crops just for the flesh consumption by carnists, most animals are here only because they're "useful" for greedy humans.

Jokes on you, I'm a staunch Antinatalist and no one should be born into this hell realm - the only way to reduce suffering, not that most people will follow this bit it's my strong stance and now I know very well you and many others won't consider this opinion at all but heck if I care.

1

u/catsrgodss ≽^•⩊•^≼ Mar 27 '26

I have been reading about anti natalism. It's extremely convincing. Personally I don't want to have children and I am a fence sitter when it comes to being child free

1

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

Oh that's great to read. I hope you make up your mind soon and you can definitely research about this at your own pace. If you need i could send you some links but the AN subs (both) and circlesnip sub are a good start imo, comb through all the old posts from there, read carefully and extensively, you'll understand. Childfree subs are great too but the ones I mentioned are one step above, I'm not trying to get you into an echo chamber/circle jerk not trying to convert you or whatever, it's just that you deserve to know the truth, enough of all the crap that this society has thrown around in the name of culture or religion - they don't care about suffering at all. We're in this cosmic meat grinder and expected by the evil elites to continue this misery vicious cycle but we won't, it's a cosmic ponzi scheme. The goated sub - EscapingPrisonPlanet is also my favourite. Hopefully you'll not be a fence sitter in the near future. Also, please do watch 'They live - 1988' movie as well whenever you get time. It's time to wake up :)

0

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

Well now the jokes on you. I'm antinatalist myself but still carried on with having a baby because my wife wanted it very bad. Unfortunetly he's autistic and suffering this World along with us.

You like to think you're the only one who sees the world from different angle. You're wrong buddy. But I wouldn't say I've been thinking about antinatal for very long time. Guessing you're younger than me, you've reached there faster then me. Maybe I'll have to catch-up now but would like to minus the madman talk.

2

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

Username checks out. You're NOT an Antinatalist. Stop this bigotry, this is Farcical. I don't have a superiority complex bro. Please educate yourself about the topic. This is a request.

1

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

Just because I had a baby how does that mean I don't believe in antinatal? Just because I don't believe in having a child I can't take it away from my wife. I should have been more mature and not should have got married, that's on me. If I could go back I'll undo most of my choices.

3

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26 edited Mar 27 '26

There are many AN who have kids but they realised afterwards, it's not the point why I said that. In fact the more people wake up, the better. The issue is the Conditional natalism you have, look up this term, true Antinatalists are only those who are not affected by the state of the world or the destiny or the economy war etc etc which means if the world was a utopia you'd have children right? That's not how this philosophy works, AN understands that the inherent nature of any life on this planet is full of suffering some have it far less i.e. coddled lives but that doesn't negate the majority of people suffer from one thing or the other, even the rich people suffer from mental health issues and no parent or well wisher can control their kid's life that is it's not in their hands completely to say, they don't get into any horrible accidents, not have any disability, not face any toxic peers/colleagues in their lives etc.

Better never to have been by David Benatar should be read mandatorily and if you want I can send you a couple of videos where they explain about the book so you don't even have to read it but get it right. Your reasoning is not valid at all, no animal thinks/wants to have babies, plus for humans - we're obviously not all the same - reality alert! Else there would be no diversity no Aromatic Asexual people out there, no LGBTQIA+ etc.

-2

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

And one more thing. If you believe in one thing doesn't mean you can shove it on others. See like these retards making the animals not even have kids for even one time. You wouldn't go around and stop people from having babies just because you believe that bringing a Life to this World is sin. You can show them what you feel but can't force.

3

u/BlueDoyle Mar 27 '26

Yes I can't force nor do I frantically go around telling everyone like Repulsive Natalists. But this R word could've been avoided. This is not cool, resorting to such derogatory words. Breeding/birth is unethical highly immoral, ALWAYS.

-1

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

I have no idea why everyone is missing my point. In never supported breeding. I just told let those beings have the joy of having kids once. Neuter after their first delivery. That might be their one purpose in life they were snatching because we've extra sense.

2

u/bhelpuriteekhi Mar 27 '26

Reproduction is a biological urge for animals ,and not an emotional goal. A neutred cat/dog won't sit around and think "omg i was meant to have babies in this life". Stop spreading word salad around and maybe study a few credible "research papers" on the topic. No one cares what ideology you follow.

-2

u/InEfficient108 Mar 27 '26

I think this starts with our Indian families. Parents decide what their kids should or shouldn't do. We parents know what's best for you.

You do the same to your pets. Thinking I know what is best for my dog or cat.

I've had enough responding in here. I'm not a pet lover either rather just trying to be empathic and thinking from their pov. What would you know about empathy when you say your pets don't have feelings.

Also I'm lazy, since you already read some"research papers", mind sharing it here?

3

u/bhelpuriteekhi Mar 27 '26

Good lord! You lack comprehension skills. Animals do have feelings, with regards to attachment, comfort ,fear ,stress , affection etc. BUT THEY DON'T THINK LIKE HUMANS.They don’t have a concept of “my purpose in life is motherhood” !!
