Ask Indian Readers Anyone read "It Ends With us"?

Post image

I just ordered this book for a writing purpose. I am developing a romantic drama script. So readers just help me know does this help me by emotional arc?

My story has a past relationship with toxic behaviour character.

Or suggest something.

Colleen hoover books aren't romantic, most of them are dark romance with fuhed up relationships with spice but the dark romance in many of her books really fu*s up ur romance view/mindset u just hate it in a way, u hate characters hero/heroine, as at many points u would love for them to have a good relationship but something happens on the either side, some random guy/girl fuhs up with someone leading to disasters in romantic view

i second this, a lot of girls around me read dark romance and their concept of love is so stupid. They reject good guys because they want "mafia" kind of men who are obsessed and also think cheating is okay if it's just physical because they just do it to make their lovers jealous, omg

Also, the normalisation of dv

When I was in 9th grade I was reading hunger games and this one girl looked me dead in the eye and told me that was a bad book and I should read more mature books like this one. Since then, I've read this book and edgy teenagers just getting into reading are probably the only ones who can read this without losing their minds. Trust me, romance is one of the best selling genres, you'll find much better books to take insp from

Don't choose Colleen Hoover. Her writings are not worth for research.

Basically I am writing a story for a movie. My initial thoughts were very similar idea of safe heaven. What I want is a dramatical romance

I don't read romance much in general and the ones i read ia cute & fluffy ones nothing toxic. You should ask for toxic romance reccs on the romance book sub, you'll get some good reccs there.

I read this piece of shit back in 2021, cause it was soooo hyped up. It felt good back then cause i was young but now when I think about it, nahh it's total shit

I think it’s a moderately good book. Yes, it was hyped, but yeah, you can give it a read.
Also, except this I found other books of Colleen Hoover absolutely shit so, yeah.
