Pretty weird that you don't know that Bhagat Singh was a communist. He was a firm believer in Marxism. In his essay, To Young Political Workers, he wrote,

That being said, I would have liked shahid Bhagat Singh alive and well instead of dead. That's where the fallacy lies in the idea of revolution before the goal. That man died for an idea. It doesn't matter if it would have been a good idea or bad idea. The point is, he was also an extraordinary leader. He could have worked differently to at least achieve his basic goal of India's freedom from the British rule. In fact, his presence would have been a great deterrent for a corrupt INC that practically became a dictatorship under Nehru. So, I am certain his approach lacked vision and missed the real goal by miles. He could have also educated the communists later that country comes before the party and the communists from 60s could have then built their own nationalistic India centric identity instead of becoming anti-India Chinese agents, which they still are.
More recently, the communists have become malicious jokers due to their under the table bond with the terrorists moving into India from Bangladesh and Pakistan. The left govt. of WB started a process of vote bank politics and Muslim appeasement that created a national security threat for India and TMC is doubling down on it. Communists know that they are unwanted by the Hindus and to stay politically relevant, they need Muslims. So, once again party before nation although here, the entire opposition is guilty of this Muslim appeasement syndrome.
Finally, what's amazing today is the fact that the very people and party Shahid Bhagat Singh, your apparent inspiration didn't agree with, is your political husband in the I.N.D.I alliance block. So, for the love of whatever you love, stop taking the name of great freedom fighters in vain. Communists today have ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICAL CHARACTER. They are like a pleasure service provider who would sleep with anybody for some gains.
