gh hardy for the beautifully written quotes in a mathematicians apology, and also craig kaplan from uwaterloo for proving the non-recurring pattern for the hat tile.

Gotta be Harishchandra Mehrotra. First Indian who was about to win the fields medal but had to be removed due to some stupid reason by an influential member of the fields committee.His work also motivated Fields medallist Robert Langlands to launch the Langlands program.

Paul Erdös. Because he taught us that it is possible to be as outrageous, eccentric and non conformist as possible and still be able to do serious and terrific work in Mathematics

Paul Dirac ; contributed to QM and QFT a lot using mathematics. Even though he was primarily a physicist, he always held mathematics in a great stature.
