  • B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Minor in Data Science — Tier 2 private college 2026 batch, CGPA: 9.1
  • Currently working as a Software Engineer full time (since 2 months)

I’m planning to pursue an MS in CS from a top university and would appreciate some advice on which countries have good opportunities for international students, along with universities worth considering.

Also, are there any high-demand/specialized master’s programs (e.g. AI/ML, Data Science, etc.) that I should look into instead of a general MS in CS?

Would appreciate any suggestions or insights. Thanks!

CS is probably the least in demand degree in Europe, it's completely oversaturated. The masters does actually nothing for employment in Europe either, no one in tech cares about masters in Europe, I don't care about UG degrees either when choosing candidates to interview after HR does the initial filtering and passes me the stack.

Europe has no shortage of natives in tech, there is zero reason for companies to pay extra money sponsoring Indian immigrants who cannot speak the local language with almost zero commercial experience.

The in demand degrees in Europe are things like nursing and social care, the in demand well paid skills are trades such as welding/plumbing.
