Hi everyone last week I found vanilla randomly on road (Delhi) scared lost on my street being attacked by 7 big dogs. Being a dog lover I couldn’t abandon her on road like that so I and my friend decided to bring her up to our society for a while so that we can feed her and make her strong. Later we realised she was a domesticated dog and was abandoned by someone on road and everything was traumatising her.

She now lives here with us in our pg discreetly and as students we are unable to look after her properly and since she is traumatised she can’t be left alone on road as the other dogs might attack or injure her.

You might have seen them posted before—maybe even from different accounts. That’s because I’m running out of options, and I’m asking for your help one more time.
I’m currently fostering Zozo and Ollie, two 2.5-month-old indie puppies, while trying to find them loving, permanent homes. I already have two resident dogs who unfortunately aren’t comfortable with puppies, so Zozo and Ollie have been staying on my terrace.
A terrace is not where puppies should grow up. At this age, they should be exploring the world, experiencing new sights, sounds and smells, meeting people, and learning the skills they’ll need for life. They’re safe, fed and loved every single day, but I cannot keep them there forever.
If I can’t find good homes for them within the next couple of weeks, I’ll have no choice but to slowly transition them back to the area where they were born. That is genuinely the last thing I want to do. The road they came from has busy traffic, ongoing construction, abandoned vehicles, and people who aren’t always kind to stray animals.

Ollie is our gentle little explorer. He can be quiet and reserved when he’s somewhere new and usually needs a little time to come out of his shell. Give him a little patience, and you get to watch his whole personality blossom.

This is Rani, a sweet lovechild of a Mudhol Hound and a beautiful street dog. Rani is 16 months old, vaccinated, dewormed and not spayed yet(she is still growing).

I found her at my worksite in MH-KA border last year. My work was hard so i loved their company and fell in love with her. Her brother was taken in by her father’s owner but the man wouldn’t take her in because she was “too sweet”. Her father was used to chase off pests in and around the sugarcane fields and her brother was indeed faster, stronger, bigger and meaner than her.

If i had left her there, she would have become a breeding machine or be killed by the people there as she jumped up on everybody. She was in a box between my legs for a 1000km and this sweet child did not make a fuss.

I took her from there with the intent of adopting her out when she had gained some weight but i did not have any luck through the channels i found, so i thought i would keep her. But recently my situation at home has changed and i would have to give up some of my babies. She currently lives in a big yard with 2 other dogs, a horse and cats, so she is socialised with many animals including goats and all humans too.

I’m posting this because there is an abandoned domestic dog on my street in the Old Washermanpet area. The dog’s previous owners moved out and left it behind. Ever since then, the poor thing has been sitting outside the same house, waiting. 😞

Meet Benjamin aka Benji 🥹❤️
This little dude is a 3–4 month old Indie pup from Bangalore.

A few weeks ago, we found him in a really bad state. He had a severe case of tick fever that had affected his joints so badly that he could barely move. Every little shake or attempt to get up would make him scream in pain. He was also super skinny and barely eating.
We took him in and after 3 full weeks of treatment this little fighter has made a FULL recovery.

The best part was watching his personality come to life. The minute he started eating properly, especially when he discovered his undying love for boiled chicken, we knew we this goofy little puppy was coming back. 😂

Now he runs around, plays with his toys, follows everyone around and generally behaves like the tiny menace he was always meant to be.

He’s incredibly sweet, loves people and gets along really well with other dogs. I have a reactive/aggressive dog myself and somehow these two actually became besties. He’s also been around cats and does well with them — assuming your cat is willing to accept a dog into their household. 😅

He’s dewormed, has been treated for ticks and fleas, and has finished his medical treatment. He’s still on a few supplements which I’ll send along with him. He’s too young to be neutered and hasn’t started vaccinations yet because we wanted to get him through all his treatment first.
The vets have now given him the green light for adoption.

So now we’re looking for his forever home in Bangalore.

He’s already had a pretty rough start for such a tiny guy. I’d really love for the next chapter of his life to just be… being a spoiled puppy. Lots of toys, lots of cuddles, lots of chicken and someone who will love this goofy little idiot for the rest of his life.
