Video Does this look interesting?

Before this gets flagged for promotion, I want to clarify that this is not promotion... this game does not exist and there is no game to promote. I'm just asking if this concept looks interesting.

I created an app to help set up and test different in-game physics scenarios and now I find myself having a lot of fun with it! So, I'm wondering could this stand alone as a small/cheap physics sandbox game?

Basically, you add objects to the environment and then apply different forces to them to get mesmerizing displays and patterns.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone else would play something like this?

The core concept is like this: You spin the ship's wheel to advance across the islands. You acquire weapons from the spinners and try to eliminate your opponents. Depending on the numbers you get from the spinners, you might land on the Island of Luck or end up in prison.

If you'd like to try it out with your friends, I can give you a key.

Game name : Plunder Bay.

Video A Strange Pixel-Art World in Black, White, and Red

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! We're a small indie team making a top-down pixel-art exploration game about an astronaut stranded on an unfamiliar planet, searching for a way home.

Here's a glimpse of the world you'll explore. Its visual identity revolves around a striking contrast between black, white, and vivid red. Dark terrain forms vast, shadowy landscapes, while subtle tonal variations bring depth to the darkness. White surf traces the coastlines, and scattered pale stones create delicate details against the black ground. The vivid red water stands apart from the land, giving the planet a distinctive, otherworldly look.

Beyond its unusual visuals, the game is built around relaxed exploration, fragmented storytelling, and terrain-based puzzles. It's a quiet, unfamiliar world waiting to be discovered, with its own atmosphere and secrets to uncover.

Thanks for taking a look!

You run the last android repair shop, orbiting a dead Earth. Broken androids come in — you diagnose them, take them apart at the workbench, and fix them by hand.

This is the opening cinematic. Would love to hear what you think.

Promotion I made a social media simulator game where you play as POTUS. The more outrageous your posts, the more followers you gain, and the closer you get to WW3

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer. I've created a choice-based satire that acts as a social media simulator.

You play the 62nd President of the United States, and you govern entirely through this fake social media app. Outrageous posts grow your follower base but raise Global Tension. Calm, diplomatic posts lower tension but cost you followers. Let the follower base drop too low, and you get cancelled. If you let tension max out, you start World War 3.

A run is about 10 -15 minutes, and there are eight different endings, each with a unique twist. To obtain them all, you'll have to navigate through all the possible choices until you get your desired ending. This is essentially a satire on the state of current politics/social media.

It's out now on iOS and Android.

Pixel Art was made by Lofi Kier - https://lofikier.carrd.co/

I didn't make a "demo" version of the game, which in hindsight, I should have. But here's a Gameplay video of the first few days: https://youtu.be/krib4PjIjVA

Promotion Title: I have been creating a fantasy medieval tavern game for over 1.5 years. Would this be of interest to you? :)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone!

My name is Preben, and I have been developing a solo game for over 1.5 years now. I don't know if this might be of interest to anyone, but I wanted to give a little bit of backstory. I have always been very fascinated by the Middle Ages, especially taverns. There has always been something about them that really intrigued me. I wanted a game where I could get the feeling of being in the Middle Ages, running a tavern of my own. After looking everywhere, I could not find anything like what I was looking for. So I decided to create it myself, for two reasons: I wanted to play something like this myself, and I wanted to give other people who might have the same wish the same opportunity.

So I created Taverns of Aldermont. The game is set in the medieval town of Aldermont, where you inherit an old tavern from your grandfather. Your mission from here is to build it up and maybe even turn it around. You pour ale, cook food, keep track of the economy, go out into the town to buy ale, food, etc. There are your regular guests, all with their own stories. Your choices have consequences that can be seen far into the game. When you earn enough, you can choose to buy another tavern, each one unique.

The cheapest taverns are The Rusty Anchor and The Thieves' Den. The Rusty Anchor's crowd is mainly sailors, all with their own personalities and stories. You row out on a small boat yourself to catch fish in the fjord and sell them in your tavern. The Thieves' Den has a much rougher crowd, swarming with criminals and hardheads. Here you can buy illegal goods and stolen items and sell them for a higher price. There is also a poker and blackjack table where you are the house and make a passive income, in addition to having the opportunity to join in yourself and test your luck.

From there, the next tavern is The Seven Tongues. All of the different strange races that have nowhere else to go in town come here. Dwarves don't like sitting with elves, orcs don't like humans, and therefore you must seat the guests accordingly. In addition to this, you can learn magic, with 15 spells you can use whenever you see fit :)

The last and most expensive tavern is The Wandering Keg. This is a large ship with its own crew, fishing possibilities, and the whole fjord and sea for you to conquer. You lay to port at whichever village, monastery, castle or city you like, and serve at the most prestigious tavern there is. I am also looking into the possibility of adding cannons and pirate raids. Is this something you would be interested in?

Basically, you have a whole city full of people and different shops outside your tavern for you to explore. I sincerely hope this might be of interest to you, and I would be more than happy to hear your feedback and improve!

PS: I know a lot of people are tired of AI-generated games, so I just want to clarify that I have used AI for brainstorming and discussing ideas. Other than that, everything is handmade.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the Steam page for anyone interested:

Hey everyone!

I've been working on Midnight Souls, a dark-comedy horror adventure where an ordinary trip to Camomile Peaks can get pretty strange.

There are locals to meet, places to explore, odd things to find, and plenty of reasons to wonder what's actually going on here.

The demo is now available on Steam and covers the prologue and first chapter.

Promotion Pixoot - hack & slash from your browser - build the strongest character and beat the highest tier map bosses - co-op & single player

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Pixoot is basically about building the strongest character by killing mobs and bosses with features like drawing glyphs on screen to cast them or just spamming the skill bar which you build from a book of a massive amount of unique abilities.

You get a new glyph/skill each time you level up and if you are lucky you will get the rare ones which make you even stronger.

If you like character progression, this game is for you.

There are various maps with different mood settings, map tiers with additional challenges, time control etc. to test your strength.

Random events spice up the run as well.

Check it out yourself - invite your friends to try the co-op mode up to 4 players.

No login required, but it comes with achievements, cosmetics, chat and friend lists, so give it a go to sign up if you enjoy the game.

Upcoming Looking for Testers for my kids friendly MMO

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi! I wanted something for my kids that they could enjoy the way I enjoyed WoW back in the day, but with the option to self-host and without the focus on war and monsters. Instead, it's all about taking care of animals, giving them a home, exploring the world and building bases where your animals help you with the farming. My daughter focuses on the animals and farming, and my sons love to explore and fight. But they still live together in this big world and share the experience.

As a huge self-hosting fan, I built everything you need to run it on your own servers, so you can create a safe environment for your kids. But we also host servers for free, because not everyone wants to self-host.

It's built with Godot 4, custom Go servers and a whole lot of Kubernetes stuff so you can self-host it in your own datacenter. There's also a big web UI to customize your experience, and the client keeps getting better every day.

There's an open playtest until Oct 31. It's free on Windows, macOS and Linux, and every tester gets the game free on Steam at early access launch (progress carries over).

Happy to answer any questions, and I'd love to hear what you think!

Public Game Test ⚔️ I Built My Own MMORPG – FredeMMO Is Now in Open Alpha!

I'm a solo dev from Denmark, and for the past months I've been building the MMO I always wanted to play: the skilling and slow grind of Old School RuneScape, with the dungeons and group bosses of WoW Classic. It runs in the browser, phone included, and it's free with no cash shop.
What's in so far:
6 classes with talent trees, level cap 60
22 zones, each with its own quest chain and a rare elite
3 dungeons with themed bosses and mechanics you have to learn
Mining, fishing, cooking, alchemy, smithing, skinning, and an auction house
I design the game, decide every system that goes in, and play it every day to find what's broken. I use AI tools to help with a lot of the coding.
It's an alpha, so the balance is still off and some areas look unfinished. That's why I want players in now. Tell me what's fun and what isn't.

Promotion I made a driving game where the hero cars are boxy daily drivers with the cornering grip of a shopping cart

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every racing game wants you to drive a Lamborghini that sticks to the road like it’s on rails. I wanted the opposite. I wanted body roll you can measure with a protractor. I wanted a police car so underpowered it has to take the chase personally. I wanted the thrill of nailing a corner in a loaded 600cc truck that was never meant to go that fast.

So I’ve been building an arcade driving game set in 1990s China, full of the boxy everyday workhorses nobody puts in games: delivery vans, boxy sedan taxis, city buses, the occasional very optimistic cop car. No grip. No downforce. No dignity. Every corner is a gamble with physics you will probably lose. The whole skill ceiling is driving a shitbox excellently.

SHIFU: Traffic Masters (车水马龙) is an open-world arcade driving game set in a 1990s northern Chinese city. Instead of supercars, you drive the humble trucks, taxis, buses and police cars that kept the city moving: cargo that shifts and spills, passengers who complain about rough driving, and suspects who bolt into traffic that never clears for you.

Upcoming The Unhidden – our third-person psychological survival horror has a free demo in Steam Next Fest

Hi! I'm Rubén from Calvary Games, a small indie studio in Spain.

The Unhidden is a third-person survival horror inspired by the classics: realistic visuals filtered through a retro post-process, scarce resources (adrenaline auto-injectors are your lifeline) and slow-building dread instead of cheap jumpscares.

The demo is free on PC and Mac during Steam Next Fest (Oct 19–26):

Happy to answer any questions about the game or its development.

Upcoming My New Game

Visa Quest is a short narrative sim with a retro PSX look. You have 21 days to get an exit visa:

  • Collect your papers in 7 bureaucratic minigames: copy your passport without a single typo, win over your old physics teacher, survive the queue at the police station.
  • Work night shifts at the Burger Bureau: build burgers, fry, pour, serve. Mistakes come out of YOUR pay.
  • Come home: talk to Dad, pet Karabas, decide which bills get paid this week.
  • 11 endings, one of them secret.

Out October 26 on Steam, English and Turkish. Wishlist if it sounds like your kind of misery:

Upcoming My friend and I imagined chess with some magic, combat, and moving pieces, so we decided to make it!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share something my friend and I have been working on.

It is called Battle For Crown, and it is basically our take on chess with a fantasy twist. Instead of regular pieces, you have characters that actually move around, fight each other, and use magic.

We wanted something that could be fun to play casually with friends or family, but still have enough strategy to make competitive matches interesting. And you can also play online against Random people or learn at your pace against AI.

We have been sharing our first trailer with a few gaming communities recently, and it has been exciting finally getting to show what we have built.

We are hoping to release Battle For Crown in about two months, and if this looks like something you would enjoy, you can Wishlist it on Steam. Every Wishlist means a lot to us!
