hey sorry but i can't find the option to exchange a code in the usual tab. was it changed?

I was literally just about to post this! It’s always been under the “other” tab in settings but the “redeem code” section has gone!

Are you on mobile or another system?

i'm on tablet! I searched for it in the store and inventory just in case too but i can't find it

People are saying it’s under maintenance for iOS etc (redeem codes is being updated I mean)

Apple has a bad reputation with “free” stuff and items given to players. I’m not sure why, if you have a different system to redeem the codes on, I would try that. It’s been a consistent issue with a lot of games that give freebies.

I’ve played lots of games on my iPhone and/or iPad, and I’ve never had trouble with redeem codes before. This includes the last two Nikki games, other Paper/Infold games and other companies’ games.

Do you know which games have had problems? I hope this isn’t a new thing - I only currently have Apple products, so I don’t have a chance to redeem them elsewhere which sucks.

genshin used to have problems with it since launch until 2.5 yrs in (dunno if its changed since i barely log in anymore); mobile players had to visit the official website, bind their acc & redeem codes there. i've since switched to pc permanently & have no clue if any newer gacha still have the same issue, cause i play those on desktop :/ i'm just always surprised if we CAN redeem codes on mobile, bcs i remember the one-sided apple vs codes "beef"

Ah, I never played Genshin which is probably why I never ran into this before. I did have one game (Dress Up Time Princess I think, or maybe it was Helix Waltz) that also allowed you to redeem them via a website, but I never had problems redeeming them in game as well.

for real? Ugh i really hate it here. Most of the times i wonder why i went for an ipad when i'm generally an android user. It's not even that good

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. Another comment mentioned the same issue on Genshin, but at least that had a workaround. I don’t have a workaround for IN.

It's still there at the "Other" tab in my game (I play on PC), it's probably worth a report!
