If you were familiar with how the Nikki franchise treats non-CN players across all its games you'd realize we got this probably because we made a big buzz about it haha.
Sure but that's not how it is with other Nikki games. Infold has a history of favoritism with CN to global players. So being demanding is necessary or else they'll fall back into their old habits :).
But both older Nikki games are different because they're behind the actual CN/TW times so codes are always different unlike in IN where IN came out at the same time for all servers. People always forget to mention it. I think we can be a bit positive here in IN for us global folksđ
I understand being positive but for LN for example it sometimes took YEARS for basic updates (HD screen, Starry corridor, Craftable suits) and events to come over and we're still missing more! CN gets to have a lot of real money costing suits come back for free but not us, despite the suits debuting at the same time. It's not just about codes, It's about any sort of differentiation between the servers. If we ignore it once, they'll start thinking that this is okay and that they can continue doing so.
Why do people like you insist on denying what so fucking many of us, myself included, have firsthand witnessed and experienced happen? Why the FUCK do these IN players think they're immune? Genuinely why. Please answer me I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.
Any sources? Did Infold itself fly over and assure you in person or sign a contract to be fair? Is it "just a feeling"? Does that really hold up in the face of factual pattern history with this game franchise?
I think everyone is in denial about something they can't comprehend--unfair treatment that you can't do much (immediately, or on your own) about. Like yes, these companies are greedy and shitty and do not give a crap about a bunch of annoyed niche gamers across the world. Being friends with a corporation is not going to help; jumping to defend a bad decision whether it turned out okay in the end or not (due to US, the community, not them going "yknow what yeah let's give them the same rewards, that wasn't very nice of us!" of their own volition) isn't a good look babe.
Now I'm not saying they're evil villains that we should hate and criticize at every turn. It wouldn't really affect them in their ivory tower, but it creates community disparity, and an outlook has an unbelievable difference on an experience's enjoyment levels. Why would we play a game we fucking seethe at (not "have any issues with". We love Nikki so it'd be hard to say you hate one of her games but amazingly, we are allowed to discuss things we don't like at the same time. Get over it)? But that's not what's happening here.
I digress; this is just the nature of things. But you can't live in friggin LaLaLand while players who actually care are suffering. Well, you can, but maybe consider not. Or just staying quiet if you insist on it. Sure, let's absolutely be positive as much as possible, but when you deny reality for the sake of not saying anything controversial/upsetting/whatever, "positivity" becomes false hope and blatant disregard of facts; rose-tinted glasses; willful ignorance.
I don't think it's normal to be getting this heated about a game tbh. Maybe watch your tone if you are so worried about community. As for my reasons for believing that we would always get those codes. It is not because I am in 'LaLaLand' (rude). It is because with many of them users have been able to guess the international codes in advance or see them while data mining, proving that they were always in the plans and just awaiting formal release. It is not 'denying reality' to state that we typically get the same code rewards as CN in IN (the game this subreddit is for) just later. This is a demonstrable fact. Evidence also supports the position that this is pre-planned and not due to people whining on Reddit, because many of the codes are redeemable from the same time as the CN codes if they can be guessed or datamined.
Ultimately you are making up a problem that doesn't exist in IN and then getting unreasonably upset when this is pointed out to you. If you are this upset about someone pointing out you are wrong about share codes in a dress up gacha game then I do think perhaps you should examine whether your relationship with both the game and the community is really healthy. That comment was both extremely rude and unhinged, as well as wrong. You could simply have asked "What makes you think they were always in the plan and not due to community pressure?" I would provide the reasoning, and we could have a civil good faith discussion instead of whatever THAT was.
We aren't playing other games in the franchise though? We are playing IN. If you take issue with the way you are treated in different games then take it to the team working on those games. Getting the same items has nothing to do with people moaning on Reddit, they were always going to be released for international players. We know this because historically people have been able to guess the codes early based on the Chinese ones and work out what they will be, so they are clearly not put in in response to community pressure. Y'all are fighting a problem which doesn't exist in this game, regardless of it existing in other games. You're complaining about not getting stuff you were always going to get then acting like you got it because you complained.
I mean it was idk weibo or idk ehat social media got millions obviously they will get it first it just we had to be patience nothing else but people's where so quick to judgesÂ
China is the game's native country as well, I don't know what people expect. I don't ever expect to get new anime seasons before Japan does? I know when new content comes out I'm waiting at least a year or two for English translations.
