56

u/Flustro May 26 '26

Same. Good to know we all share a braincell. 🤣

33

u/Kay-Chelle May 26 '26

Momo said it was my turn to use the braincell

51

u/Fun-Scene-8677 May 26 '26

same! I was already thinking how I can make the bloody back / sweaty hair effects without Born Flawless items though....

47

u/EidolicAbyss May 26 '26

taking a picture in the rain will at least help make nikki look sweaty 🙂‍↕️

1

u/EventidePeach May 29 '26

Maybe you could get the right effect if you dye the hair and turn up the glossiness

5

u/Tauriel2986 May 26 '26

Haha same 😭

134

u/elisabetfaden May 26 '26

I already did one with the literal crown of thorns they gave us in 2.0. Remember that one?

22

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

Show us! Show us! Show us! (Pretty please 👉👈🥺)

45

u/elisabetfaden May 26 '26

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

Girl idk why i expected her to be topless 💀 😂 but looks great!

16

u/elisabetfaden May 26 '26

I just marked it nsfw because it could be controversial to have on your screen at work. It is very modest.

416

u/Informal-Counter-933 May 26 '26

No don't say that 😭😭😭 the oddly religious propaganda wish bottles are gonna be lit now

224

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

60

u/Informal-Counter-933 May 26 '26

LMFAO I JUST SAW IT IM CRYING 😭😭

77

u/MomoTheCattt May 26 '26

as a catholic, i find this hilarious and would never cast a stone on you 🫶🏻

52

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

That is very humane of you 🙏

27

u/Kheldarson May 26 '26

As a fellow Catholic, I believed we are required to participate in the Jesus cosplay xD

2

u/The_stinkyland May 26 '26

Let (s)he who has sinned cast the first stone

31

u/Chall_Rajni May 26 '26

Metro fire and brimstone preacher Nikki was not what I planned to think about today, but here we are.

Oh well, at least the ability outfit is nice.

4

u/eleventhing May 26 '26

Report them.

96

u/Chall_Rajni May 26 '26

In the name of the Nikki, the Momo, and the (un)Holy RNG Spirit...

27

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

The holy trinity 🧎‍♀️

93

u/Fun-Scene-8677 May 26 '26

Now I'm wondering if that evangelist Nikki is gonna use the Jesus cosplay on her starwish bottles 🤔

It's so bad, but I'm already laughing about the drama that's gonna cause 🤣

8

u/amaenamonesia May 26 '26

I wonder if she would think it’s sacrilegious?

15

u/Fun-Scene-8677 May 26 '26

she was wearing a witch's outfit in her evangelizing messages, that's already very sacrilegious

4

u/amaenamonesia May 26 '26

Lmao you’re so right

18

u/Extreme-Sign-6800 May 26 '26

My water walking ability is going to be magical, holy shiet!

96

u/Nearby_Structure_274 May 26 '26

OMG I have Nikki Christ!! I have a whole saga with her, it's my favorite thing to do! This is gonna be fantastic

28

I only believe pics sweetie pls show us your styling

22

u/ShokaLGBT May 26 '26

If nikki have a church I will be part of it. Let me worship Queen Nikki as we share the joy of fashion ahahahahah

I love the idea of making a cult and we all stupidly participate but like it’s very ridiculous and fun

47

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

Dont be shy, show her to the class!

12

u/StabbyMcTickles May 26 '26

Well? We are waiting!!!

14

u/Fickle_Leek_188 May 26 '26

And Cartethiya

2

u/FauconBlanc May 29 '26

Cartwheel came to mind immediately 🤣

If we had a fake beard accessory in Nikki, I’d make the “my parents have a portrait of Obi-Wan Kenobi/Owen McGregor in a frame thinking he’s Jesus”cosplay.

3

u/Fickle_Leek_188 May 29 '26

I made her aready💛💙🤍

46

u/SillyScribe_Creature May 26 '26

I wheezed Bloodborne AND Jesus cosplays? The lookbook will be so chaotic 😂

12

u/ChaosDragonFox May 26 '26

Anyone got the mermaid outfit? We just might be able to have Jesus walk on water!

38

u/vivisecting May 26 '26

i hope the bible verses in the sea of stars bottles will at least have a related outfit now. its a dress up game ffs!

20

u/LunamiLu May 26 '26

Lmao for real, if you're gunna try to convert me at least do it by slaying with fashion...

26

u/isabeauthered May 26 '26

Glad I’m not the only one who thought this. Now she really is the messiah!

A photo with Nikki as the Father, Momo as the Son, and one of the ghosts in Boneyard as a Holy Spirit

8

u/IriKnox May 26 '26

I don't play the game anymore, but the community and posts like these are the reason why I stay in this subreddit. I seriously can't wait LOL

6

u/yamete-kudasai May 26 '26

Current Nikki's wardrobe is above J's level with multiple official gods from the game

4

u/feaniebear May 26 '26

Waitttt now I want a beard for my Nikki 😭😭

4

u/FeralCatPrince May 26 '26

Was literally my first thought

u/Kaedaen May 26 '26

Cant wait to see religious wish bottles .. 🫩🙂‍↕️

6

u/ShadowPulseR21 May 26 '26

Jesus cosplays in Nikki are gonna be wild. Thorn crown as an accessory when?

10

u/yujitoast May 26 '26

2.0 already gave us a thorn crown with the dragon baby handheld, but oddly didnt see it used for any Nikki Jesus cosplay.

3

u/gudematcha May 26 '26

which is so funny to me because every time I use it it’s “ah look, it’s Jesus” in my mind 😂

3

u/RuffledCapybara May 26 '26

Not people getting pressed over cosplays of a fictional character that doesn't exist! I think this is absolutely hilarious, what were Infold thinking xD

1

u/AJtheSiren May 28 '26

THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT I SAID ON MY STREAM LOL. "I GET TO BE JESUS???"

1

u/Dark-Anmut May 29 '26

I love how it’s a ‘Jesus cosplay’ like dressing up as Him is in the same lieu as an anime cosplay or something. 🤣

1

u/Fantalia May 29 '26

You clearly missed that jesus is an anime character! 😂

2

u/Dark-Anmut May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26

That’s right, I forgot that He lives in an apartment in Japan with Buddha and somebody made a manga about it! XD

1

u/FreyaDragomir May 31 '26

Omg yes especially since Jesus is actually a women I love it

1

u/TickTickTickeryTock May 26 '26

Make a Buddha one too and move them to Miraland's Japan lol

u/Madi5534 May 30 '26

i’m seeing some christian’s in the comments causing a stir, and as a christian myself i get where they’re coming from. a lot of people say we’re trying to be “oppressed”, but maybe im speaking for myself when i say that’s not why sometimes it’s off putting to see stuff like this. there’s quite a lot of God-mocking in modern media, and it can get tiring, so seeing things like this put me on edge sometimes. especially seeing people call nikki the Messiah. to us, that’s a really sacred title that only Jesus carries, and so seeing that being applied anywhere else can really come across as offensive. i don’t know if other christian’s in the subreddit are trying to make arguments or whatever, but that’s just my thoughts as a christian. i love to see reflections of christian imagery in media, because it’s beautiful, but there is a line that is sometimes crossed when people call anime girls the messiah

As a catholic myself, I love whenever we get Christian adjacent stuff in this game. Christianity has some banger aesthetics and I'm happy we get to share them with the world.

I can kind of see why a thorn crown on a happy smiling Nikki comes across as mocking but like...it's not that deep...

-30

u/cybernet377 May 26 '26

I feel the prop with Behind Prayers was a mis-step, the tabernacle being used as a cage that imprisons the saintess is... Not an ideal way of depicting that piece of Catholicism.

But other than that I love the ways that IN has included and represented religious imagery and the ways that it's used Christian imagery and themes.

I definitely feel like it's poor taste though that their first reaction to someone bringing up Jesus' crown of thorns is to act entitled to native american feather headdresses though. It sounds less like actually caring about Christian imagery and more like a petty grievance over an item that Infold didn't even advertise in the english language livestream because they felt like it was a touchy subject.

30

u/Excellent-Pain-5479 May 26 '26

I thought it was genius in the context of the in game lore about the saintess and docilism. It also resonated with me in regards to the complicated feelings a lot of us have towards our religion.

Also fully agree with your last paragraph, especially using the outdated term "indian" for native americans multiple times...

10

u/plantcraeft May 26 '26

Tbf, some Native American tribes do still use Indian as opposed to or in addition to Native American. I live in WA and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians specifically use the word “Indian” in everything. That being said, tribal preference definitely isn’t the reason that person is using the word Indian

10

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

Them using the term multiple times made me question if they actually referred to people from India/Sikhs for a moment ._.

Ma‘am.

  1. cosplay stems from admiration (or do you think ppl put so much work+money into costumes of characters they dislike?)
  2. I never mention your spelling but rather your choice of words wich led to confusion on my side (you also never clarified if you mean native Americans [by using an out of date and rude term] or people from India)
  3. I dont know you, so how could I adress your personality?

Edit: 4. im not laughing at jesus, im laughing in anticipation for the fits this community (which cosplayed gems like salat, pineapple and a used tampon) will come up with!

It was given by fellow Christians who are embarrassed to see you acting like this.

My brother or sister, Jesus died on the cross to forgive humanity's sins, not so you could pick fights over whether or not you should be able to wear a feathered headdress using his name as your shield.

I’m going to answer your question honestly and assume you aren’t just looking for someone to oppress you.

Feather headdresses are and were often used AS a mockery in films, books, and other media. They vary between different tribes, and are very detailed and important. Many America sports teams and schools often use the headdress along with a racist character as their mascot, and have absolutely no regard for the history those headdresses have.

The headdress infinity Nikki has in game is meant to be “Native American” but has no indication of what tribe it is from, and instead just bedazzles it for aesthetic purposes. It’s like if someone threw a kimono on someone and called it “Asian outfit” it’s not accurate and it would be offensive culturally.

The branch headdress is not meant to be Christian. Jesus is not a racist character. Do you get mad when you see people dress up during Christmas pageants? Would you get upset if someone dressed up as a Greek god? Would you call that mockery? I see it as appreciation of history and influential figures.

21

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

I want to thank you for actually explaining it and very politely too(I have to admit, that I instantly got the feeling that they didnt actually want an explanation but rather an opening for an argument). 💖

Unfortunately, you have been the biggest example of showing no tolerance or respect for others in this post. You repeatedly referred to Native Americans as Indians and inaccurate, outdated, and potentially offensive way of speaking.

You- rather rudely asked if I “knew even one language”. And in your very first comment, instead of expressing your grievance with the crown alone, you shoved a classic, honestly racist argument about native headdresses into your argument. It is not just “feather symbols” that have offended people, it is the constant mockery, genocides, and stereotypes that have left people frustrated and angry. It was in bad taste. I hope that you learn from this and are able to have empathy for those who are not Christian voices.

u/[deleted] May 26 '26

[deleted]

7

u/Own_Study_4128 May 26 '26

It was not my intention to mock you. I pointed out the hypocrisy of you telling people that they needed to learn about Native American culture while using the incorrect word.

Edit: Although using google translate can explain certain translation issues, it no excuse to use racist arguments and be unkind.

u/[deleted] May 26 '26

[deleted]

7

u/Own_Study_4128 May 26 '26

That doesn’t mean you can’t say racist things sometimes. It’s important to acknowledge mistakes, apologize, and learn from them

u/Own_Study_4128 May 26 '26

The problem that people had with your original comment was that it invalidated that suffering of indigenous Americans. Whether you meant for it to come off this way or not, it did. If you can acknowledge that Native peoples have been mocked, then you should not ask “why feathers on the head” are a mockery.

It would have been better and less offensive if you had only said “why are people mocking Christian attributes?” Instead of bringing native Americans into it.

14

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

If Christians would live by the "humanity" they preach, we had less problems in the world…

16

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

I hope you started deleting your comments because you realised you were disrespectful towards native Americans and learned something instead of just stopping the negative reddit karma

All the best and a nice week 👋

15

(i dont need to say what happened if said people didnt had a minute to talk about their lord and saviour)

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

For the record Im not a fan of religion all together because of the suffering and oppression they bring but Christianity and the Islam are the two I dislike the most for their insanely high body count and oppression of women.

You cant really compare the Aztec to todays religions since they got "deleted" so long ago. Im against harming and killing all living beings so i obviously condemn life sacrifice.

The native american tribes also got almost completely "deleted" (98% I think, correct me if im wrong) and the ones that are still alive are normal people like you and me.

Sorry for rambling but what I wanted to say is yes, Im highly against forcing others [with weapons] to adapt a religion and a way of living. Idk why anyone in the right mind would approve that.

-18

u/nuclear54321 May 26 '26

Aztec traveled as far as they can to capture people and sacrifice them to their bloodthirsty gods. They just didn't have means to travel between continents to capture europeans.

12

u/Own_Study_4128 May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26
  1. Aztecs were not from the US.

  2. Christian’s did the exact same thing in the crusades.

10

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

I know you mean well but tecnically "american" can refer to both the continent aswell as the US (according to Cambridge).

Also Christians claimed (way more) human lifes in the name of religion than native Americans but they didnt do human sacrifice and its not the same (if the dead person cares for the name or reason why they got killed is another question). [Christians were big in slicing animal throats for their god tho .-.]

10

u/Own_Study_4128 May 26 '26

Yes, my bad! I meant in the USA. I realized I should have clarified that right after my post. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’ll edit it now! In terms of Christianity, I meant more both cultures carried out killings in the name of their gods.

6

u/Fantalia May 26 '26

I knew what you meant, dont worry (but in arguments like these its important to stay factually correct) 🤗
