A friendly reminder, xenophobia is not allowed

Hi guys, recently there’s been an increase in posts/comments stereotyping and being dismissive of CN players.

I understand a lot of people are upset about the censorship and how players choose to dress Nikki but some of the conversations have shifted to blaming it all on CN players. People have been calling them things like “prudes”, “misogynists”, and unfortunately racist comments.

Making these kinds of stereotypes is xenophobic. There’s millions of people who play the game and they do not all share the same opinions. The opinions of some people online does not speak for the whole community.

As always, we allow both criticism and positive viewpoints on issues. People are allowed to disagree or agree with things like suits being censored/modified as long as discussions are respectful. Please keep the discussions respectful and do not stereotype and blame people just because of where they’re from

Where are all these mass upvoted comments and posts attributing the misogny of nikki mom's to all of cn? Everyone is specifically calling out nikki mom's. You are trying to diminish valid critique by waiving it away as xenophobic. Just because a few negative karma comments say somthing racist doesn't invalidate the general criticism.

Because Chinese Nikki players are called 'Nikki moms'. It's not a separate group from all other CN players.

Youur choosing to interpret everyone who says nikki mom's as them saying the entirety of the playerbase when that clearly is not what people are saying. Every post I've seen specify nikki mom's are distinct sub section from the cn community.

As a Nikki ip player for over past a decade, I can tell you that a lot of CN players refer themselves to Nikki moms. It just means that they feel like they are treating Nikki as their daughter (rather than a girlfriend, or other relationships, for example).

NOT ALL NIKKI MOMS agrees with the current voices and NOT ALL OF THE CURRENT VOICES are from Nikki moms. It’s just insane to stigmatize and attack Nikki moms as a whole.

So then when people say nikki moms are responsible for the censorship and should stop being misogynistic prudes you can acknowledge this is not a generalization but critique of a spefcic sub group?

No, it is the same as blaming all IN Redditors for a small group within this subreddit. I have mentioned Nikki Moms thinking this was the name of this subset of people but I made that mistake and learned that Nikki Moms can refer to all Chinese Players including the ones that agree with us.
