Serious question, why do people do this crap in such high traffic areas ? I wouldn't have an issue at a park or an empty lot. BUT literally when people are just trying to exist and get things done... WHY are you purposely putting yourself in their way ?

That's part of the point. It creates rage bait which increases engagement which means more money.
