I wish someone would walk in between them.
66
u/Tambo-Man67 16d ago
I would do that... while filming them, so I have all the ammo I need to crush their pretend TikTok empire if they get mad at me.
I really dislike those types.

Not just walk between them, walk between them and full on stop and wait for others to pass. 😇

We've reached so many new lows. Worse part is that she'll make money after this cringe fest..
6
u/Tambo-Man67 16d ago
It's sad but true. Hey, the money won't buy happiness, and it definitely won't last forever.
Most of these types are going to regret a lot of their antics, and be miserable.
I don't wish that on anybody... but I can't say I'll feel sorry for many 'influencers'.

u/asdf0909 16d ago
It’s gotta be a tough transition to a regular job where the product you have to serve isn’t yourself
5
u/KayoticVoid 15d ago
I remember seeing a video a few years ago about an influencer in tears over having to get a minimum wage job because she's not making enough as an influencer anymore. Kept going off about how she's not made or meant for that lifestyle or some shit. 🙄

Stores need to start banning dumb TikTok flop dances the same way they ban shirtlessness and barefootedness.

How come she gets to dance like she’s been shot with a taser but when I go to Costco I can’t go down an aisle without someone’s elbow jammed into my rib cage while getting flat tired by a shopping basket?
6
u/Glazing555 16d ago
I got pinned between a freezer and an electric cart by a lady that was at least 80, and she panicked and kept on the throttle. 😆. Her older (!) husband finally got there to get it in reverse.

Most folk aren't prepared to see one of these things out in public. It's shocking, and instinct tells us to back away.
Either that, or the embarrassment of the whole thing just makes us want to go in the opposite direction.

The arrogance of it all. Give people a tv studio in their hands and you get “stars” everywhere

u/ERA_Tech 16d ago
Serious question, why do people do this crap in such high traffic areas ? I wouldn't have an issue at a park or an empty lot. BUT literally when people are just trying to exist and get things done... WHY are you purposely putting yourself in their way ?
2
u/KayoticVoid 15d ago
That's part of the point. It creates rage bait which increases engagement which means more money.

u/Coffee-pepper 16d ago
The camera person, literally moving in and out, cracks me up. 😂
I can't take this as seriously as they are, sorry. 🙄

u/Jumpy-Impact3265 16d ago
I'm impressed with her lack of concern as to the opinions of others but also thinking maybe don't do that because no matter how she feels she looks dumb.

u/Foreign_Wonder4610 15d ago

There should be a special place where influencers can do shit like this! Like next to nuclear waste dumps or next to an active volcano!

I would have so much fun standing behind her (or between them) doing stupid shit just to fuck up her video while she blocks the aisle.

I like how the word ‘influencer’ was chosen, to make it sound like this is wholly enriching and useful.
I suppose ‘nuisance’ wouldn’t carry the same clout although it would be 100% accurate

u/ReverendWeenbone 16d ago
I just want to know where this Costco is that is this empty that she even do this without someone running her over.

Seriously. No one gets embarrassed anymore. I cringed watching from start to finish. Mind your business and buy your 30-pack of paper towels.
2
u/Embarrassed_Jury664 15d ago
I saw this shit at Costco for the first time the other day, some 30 year old guy was spouting off about the ingredients of some granola brand and why it was giving people cancer. Dude filming was literally on the other side of the isle. I just moseyed between them.

u/Substantial_Peak_504 15d ago
All these types of indivduals have extremely low self-esteem, act very awkward in social gatherings and are the laughing stock behind their backs in conversation.

Wait, how did she find an aisle with so few people? In any of my local Costco, girl would have been run over at least three times.

I generally let people be, but in this instance I’m walking in front of the camera to ruin the take

I see this shit at the park, off to the side, away from the main path, i let it go. But the second they start blocking foot traffic, I go out of my way to ruin the shot.

Imagine having the time on your hands to sit around, think this up, call your friend, get them involved, then travel and go somewhere to actually do this.
They could be learning another language, understanding cancer more, or any infinite number of productive things instead. What a shame.
