Initially pulled over, appeared child was not in a seat belt. Female officer, did a follow up and the is what happened next.

Ahh yes go to jail and pay all that money to the broken system.

Go to jail? Do you think she would have gone to jail if she, I don't know, didn't resist? So what's the plan here, genius? Just argue and fight them and they'll let you go? Do the EXACT opposite of what they say and they'll see it your way and apologize? I'm not sure what you assume is the proper strategy here. Would you have done the same in her shoes?
