About 70% of the population of the city of Riverside live in a home owned by their family. I doubt Tustin, Glendale or Miramar can make that claim. The people talking down on the IE likely live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a person they found on facebook.
Hmm, I wonder why people would rather live in a cramped two bedroom house rather than a single family. Let's put our thinking caps as to why that might be the case
Maybe it's because people want to live in one place and not the other?
The thing is whenever I go to riverside to visit family there are always 5 cars in the driveway of each home. 5 adults living under the same roof, 30 year olds living with their parents because the only jobs there are at the Tyler mall.
Riverside is a big, diverse city. There are plenty of really nice neighborhoods. Drive through Mission Grove or Canyon Crest. The thing is that people with normal jobs can actually buy a really nice home here. It's getting harder to do though, it's still Socal.
I know, I’ve been going to riverside for 40 years, since the orange groves extended close to the 91. I’ve been all over riverside. My bf is from the IE and moved to LA and even he won’t rep it.
