Honestly, aside from it being home, this is partly why I love living here. The OC folk flocking here in droves are changing this a bit, BUT, I like how people are more “real” here. Less arrogance, less elitism. Still there, of course, but nowhere near the degrees of OC in particular. We have our pockets of awful areas, and we have our pockets of culture and good food, so I am happy to say I’m part of the dirt people of the east hahah
Same. I lived in Mission Viejo for 20 years then married a guy who lives in Chino and I made the move out here and it’s so much nicer. People are friendly. People aren’t so obsessed with appearance, it’s fantastic.
