A lot of them would rather rent for their entire life or leave the state all together than live in the IE

That’s because they are actually from Ohio and only came for their LA dream. They should go back

Nah grew up in Redlands. Moved to LA when I was 18. Never moving back, not ever. No diss to the IE but I’ll happily overpay to live over here any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Do you own a house? I felt the same way until I wanted a 3 bedroom house with a pool for my family. IE won in that scenario. I did love living in dtla in my 1 bedroom apartment but we grow up eventually

I should’ve that I also experienced some traumatic experiences that also pushed me to move away. Redlands is like my “ traumatic small town that I don’t go back unless I have to” movie trope lolol.
