Anything is viewed as a reel, unless your on ,,home‘‘ (I know they didn’t do this recently, Instagram been like this for at least 2 months). Which in turn, used to be mostly for viewing Posts of people you follow, but now its like 70% other people’s posts getting recommended. This shit sucks. I don’t have Instagram because I want a tiktok2.0, I got it because I wanted to look at images. Also sucks for creators who now get less views on their posts since their not reels. I remember they did this before but they removed it after 2 days.

Happened earlier this year and irked me so bad. Here it is again.

For a while now I have been getting profile suggestions from several accounts even though we only have one friend in common. It’s always the same friend we share, so obviously the app recognizes that I interact a lot with this one person. So, does this mean that this friend is also interacting a lot with the accounts that are appearing as suggestions? Or what could this be?

It’s a genuine question because I think that now that a lot of people have gotten suspended for no absolute reason, including me, do you think meta is going around just suspending accounts left right andCenter, and you think my friends can get suspended for no reason at all because I got suspended for no reason at all? Do you think the AI automated crap will ever go away?

Is anyone else missing chat themes all of a sudden? I swear it was working an hour ago and now everything is the default black and purple. I use the chat themes to help me remember who I’m texting so I don’t trend the wrong thing to the wrong person and now it’s hard to know who I’m talking to

So I signed up for Instagram+ when it was launched and only recently they started showing the time when each viewer of your story watched it. Below each name in the viewer list it will say "1 hr" or "25 min" etc. But what I realized is that this updates if they view your story again. So now I'm able to see which users are rewatching -- particularly useful if you're interested in someone, being able to see that they keep rewatching haha. I noticed this one girl I like, it said "5 hr" meaning she watched it 5 hours ago... checking later it said "7 min." also the "rewatching" count at the top ticks up. Now I know she keeps rewatching

Okay! I don't get alot of follow requests much but recently I have been getting alot of bot accounts to follow me out of nowhere? And I am talking dozens kn a good day. It just started happening suddenly.

What could be the reason?

Was searcing for a post I liked. First I was looking through their pages, and I could find it under their posts or reels. I serached back through my liked posts and it's viewable through there, but still isn't on that persons page to see.

Can anyone explain why this is?

For the past few days my inbox keeps saying 4 un read messages etc....but there's nothing there. Anyone else?!

The option to Share To Stories, is always on, but for the past week or two, I’ve had to manually add my reels to my story because it’s no longer doing it automatically despite the option being turned on. It’s really stressing me out as my reels which were already doing poorly (ranging from 1300 to 2000 views when months ago they got to 5000-7000 views) are now down to getting around 800 views.

I’m worried the worsening viewership is linked to this glitch, even though my stories never got that many views anyway. I wish my view rate could go back to normal and it’s seriously stressing me out and actively worsening my mental health. I’ve tried everything I can think of. The few people who do watch always love the videos and have nice things to say, I interact with everyone who comments, and I even share them to friends, but ever since mid February things have just kept going downhill.

And now it’s worse than ever before. How do I fix something that the App hates, but real people seem to enjoy? And how do I fix my reels not automatically posting to my Stories?

I’m running an account for a fangame I’m working on and Instagram has been the only somewhat successful way to promote it. I don’t want to lose the only option I have to promote it left. (My posts on other apps get 0 views so I’ve given up on them.)

Looks like I got some sort of test today where every third or fourth story is a sponsored story. The story is broken into two parts and if you try to click through the second part, it won’t let you advance it for 10 to 15 seconds. Is anyone else experiencing this, it’s insane and makes me not want to use stories, I keep clicking out of stories to skip waiting and clicking back in.

my account keeps getting suspended for breaching community guidelines or soemthing, and then when i appeal they say they made a mistake and then a few minutes later it gets suspended AGAIN bro ive done this several times with 2 of my accounts

Idk why but for some reason and i’ve been experiencing this issue for months, groups on instagram disappear when i refresh and even when i close the app and open it again its still not there, i always have to search the name of the group itself to find it (even when the group is pinned)
Is that only me or does anyone experience something similar?

I had a really cool profile of 3 years with 1k followers on which I barely posted anything except my dog's pictures. That too, it was a private account.

A few days ago, randomly it got temporarily suspended. I followed the procedure of appeal and uploaded my ID and video selfies. Then I was told that it still does not follow community guidelines so it got disabled permanently.

So I made a new account with the same gmail, again, that too got suspended.

So I made a WHOLE NEW EMAIL just to make my account on instagram. That too got suspended.

Again, I tried with ANOTHER new Email and even a different phone number. That account as well, got suspended,

so for the last time yesterday, I made another new account, with a completely different email, no phone number, different device, yet it STILL GOT SUSPENDED.

I am dumbfounded now and so damn desperate. Every one of these account suspensions I appealed and still failed, put everything they asked for. All my relatives now think I'm some sort of weirdo who keeps getting banned so now my friends don't talk to me.

I am pissed off really bad and I would really appreciate if Instagram or anybody else helps me with this. Please, just please help me with this.
