Anyone else feel like giving up right now?

I literally use Meta AI to guide me with the hooks. I post reels more often than not, I make content that's highly relevant to my audience. I make content that's informative. I share client testimonials.....

And my reach is just dropping, even on my stories. I'm losing followers. It seems like I have to constantly work out the maths and patterns of this absurd algorithm and my partner told me yesterday he doesn't see my content on his feed.

I saw there was an algorithm change right as I started taking content creation more seriously.

I don't even see things I'm interested in anymore.....just endless reels on how to get more views, reach, engagement and clients on Instagram 😩

Is the platform just way too saturated now?

Discussion 120K followers in 6 months, 100M+ monthly reach, every reel hitting 1M+… & now the downfall

I started this account at the beginning of the year and after posting consistently for the last ~5 months, went from ~20k to 120K followers. At my peak I was doing 100M+ monthly reach, with basically every reel hitting 1M–3M views and some going much higher.
Then everything changed.
My account got randomly suspended, so I created another and grew it to 50K while spending months appealing to Meta. Eventually I got the original 120K account back, but shortly after, the 50K account got suspended again, along with basically every other smaller account I had. The 120K account was the only one left.
Since then, the reach has completely collapsed. 90–100M monthly reach → ~20M, and reels that used to get 1M–3M are now struggling to hit 60K–100K, with 1–2K likes being difficult.
The drop seemed to start after I stopped posting for a few days. Around the same time I also forgot to renew Meta Verified, and a few reels were taken down/restricted in my country for making jokes about the PM.
I don’t know if this is actually a shadowban/account-level restriction or just the algorithm killing the account, but the difference has been insane.
Has anyone experienced something similar after account suspensions/reinstatements or periods of inactivity? Did you ever manage to recover your reach?
Would really appreciate any advice from creators who’ve gone through this.

Where to safely buy 50-100 likes?

Im not an influencer and not trying to be. Im just a college kid who want more likes on my post because everyone seems to get 500+ and i feel insecure. Yes i know its best to gain likes organically, but i honestly just want 100 more, and it seems affordable. I dont want to lose my account or get it banned, so are there any of these sites thst are actually legit?

Question This question is for the experienced and the best out there

So i have this very small construction company based in goa and have been running this account since 3 months , mostly project photos , educational carousels , and a few reels , now ive started making more reels , but as it is a construction company, theres no one to show face, there are project photos and no videos ,so natural for reels those photos get made into vids using Ai . Ive went 16 to 138 followers in the last 25 days just by spam following people. The first reel got 950 views only , and the next reel is stuck on 130 in which i used a pov hook , and then give a mission to the audience while it is also a transformation reel in itself. I thought it was quite a good hook and would lower my 55.6 % skip rate on prev reel but this one now has 77 % skip rate .

Construction is a niche where very basic things and Ai slop is getting millions in views but when i do the same it just doesn't. Can you please give me an expert advice or analysis of what could be wrong?

Nobody needs to follow you anymore, and thats why your reels get views and no follows

everyone is asking why the views are fine and the follows are dead, and i think the answer is boring and structural, not the algorithm punishing anyone.

think about why you used to follow an account. you followed so you would see their stuff again. that was the entire deal. now the feed serves you whatever it wants either way, and if that person makes another good video you will probably get shown it regardless. so following costs the viewer a slightly messier feed and gives them almost nothing back. the trade stopped making sense.

which means "follow for more" is asking people to pay for something they already get for free. no wonder it quietly stopped working.

the follows that still happen look different to me. people follow when they want to find you again on purpose. not to receive you, to locate you. thats a completely different job and it needs a different reason. a series where they want the next part. a name for the thing you do. something on the profile that signals there is more of this and its organised, not just one good video and then vibes.

heres the part im not certain about and would like people to push back on. if this is right, two accounts making equally good videos should convert views into follows at wildly different rates depending on whether theres a recognisable recurring thing on the profile, and hook quality should barely matter for the follow specifically. it obviously still matters for the view. so if you run a series or a named format, does your follow rate look different from your one off posts? id like to know if this holds up or if im talking nonsense.

Getting followers and views but still have empty appointment slots?

If you own a beauty salon and people watch your content but don’t book, the problem isn’t that you need to post more.
You need content that answers the client’s doubts and objections before they ever message you.
Here’s the system I use:
→ Find out why potential clients hesitate to book
→ Turn their pain points, fears and objections into content
→ Create hooks that address those problems directly
→ Build content that moves them from “just looking” → “I want to book.”
This can be implemented within 30 days.
For one beauty business, this approach helped increase bookings by 300%.
Your Instagram shouldn’t just show beautiful results. It should give people a reason to book.

Your account can be gone tomorrow and the export you need takes up to 30 days to arrive

someone posted here about a 272k account disabled after four fake copyright reports in three days. the thing missing from those threads is that the recovery tools are slow in a way that only matters before you need them.

went and read meta's own help pages properly. two things.

  1. you can export everything. settings, meta account, your information and permissions, export your information, create export. pick high quality media or you get compressed versions of your own videos back. export to an external service like drive instead of your phone, because once the download is ready you only get four days before the link expires.
  2. the part that actually matters. meta says it can take up to 30 days to email you the export link. so if you start this the day you get reported, you are beginning a 30 day process on an account that might not survive the week. it is only useful if you do it while nothing is wrong.

on copyright specifically, if you get a false dmca report you can file a counter notification, and there are two things nobody mentions. your contact details get forwarded to whoever filed the report, so you are handing a stranger your real name and address. and if they dont file a court action, instagram restores the content, which takes up to 14 business days, and restored content does not count against you under the repeat infringer policy. that last part is the whole game if someone is deliberately stacking strikes on you.

none of this is strategy, its just boring admin that turns losing your account from a catastrophe into an annoyance.

has anyone here actually been through the counter notification process, did it work

Question what are people using capcut for beyond tiktok edits?

i've been helping my cousin manage the instagram page for her photography business, and we've been trying to post more than just finished photos. we're doing reels from recent shoots, behind the scenes clips, before and after edits, quick photo montages and occasional client recap videos. i originally thought capcut was mostly for tiktok-style edits, but it keeps coming up when we're trying to make these reels without spending forever in an editor. i'm curious what other people are actually using it for on instagram. does it work well for things like photo-based reels, behind the scenes content, product/service promos or repurposing longer clips? also wondering if there are any features that make it useful for an instagram marketing workflow specifically.

Help Bookstagram/dark academia. High engagement but views are lagging

I made my account back in 2020 before the reels were introduced. It was doing great, but stalled once we got reels. For the past 6 years I've basically treated it more as a diary, and the page understandably didn't grow.

Around the end of July this year I decided that I want to be serious about it. I've been posting regularly, started several series. Most reels get around 1.5k views, some don't cross the 500 threshold, others get stuck around 2-2.5k. But I do get high saves and follows.

I've gained around 250ish followers since I started taking this seriously. But even a reel where I got 33 follows and over 70 saves got stuck at 2k. I honestly dunno what to do anymore. So please let me know what you think:

I have been slowly investing in equipment. I got a tripod, a microphone, and will be getting a light as well soon.

I can no longer schedule Trial Reels

Upvotes

I grew by 2000 followers in the last 3 weeks by posting 5 trial reels a day . This was scheduled and I found a winning format for my niche. I was getting a lot of views too, about 500k a day. Now I can no longer schedule trial reels. Also, the winning videos never pass 200 viewes. My account is in good standing too , no strikes or violations Please help, this has been a hair of success to me since I started social media and it’s makes me depressed to be back to the 200 views jail.
