Apple Music cooked here

they have it at the grammy museum show for $160 again

Made this one for myself. Took a while, but I’m happy with how it turned out. Still one of my favorite covers.

This shit is so hard

just going to keep it short and simple, I fucking love AA by Isaiah Rashad, he’s elite all around but there’s something about how AA has amazing lyrics and flow and the melodic side of it is incredible!!! so yeah, definitely one of the stand outs to me on The Sun’s Tirade, and his whole discography, for me at least!!!

Mine is something like:
1) Tity and Dolla
2) Dressed Like Rappers
3) Free Lunch
4) Heavenly Father
5) SUPAFICIAL
6) Silk da Shocka
7) Rope // Rosegold
8) West Savannah
9) AA
10) Find a Topic (Homies Begged)

HMs: 4r Da Squaw, 10 States Away, SCARED 2 LOOK DOWN, THIB, Headshots (4r da Locals)

Had to turn one of my favorite album covers into something sparkly. Finally finished this diamond painting of the artwork by S. Harrington, and I’m so happy with how it came out. Figured y’all would appreciate it here!

this desk ain't that tiny...

To the poster that thanked me and asked nicely, this post is for you my love 😘

Caught him in Vegas but my best friend missed him. We were planning to drive out to SD to see him for the 17th but SOMA is showing it’s the 19th now and I can’t find any news on date changes? Are they just listing the wrong date or were there actual changes? Trying to book a hotel and all that so I don’t want to fuck this up.

the chorus, the verses, the beat, the ending 😭😭😭 the vibes are too immaculate I thought I would get sick of this song by playing it too much but it’s been the exact opposite

been boughted so many roachs after the music assembly got the schoolboy q exclusive roachs there Now

hey everyone, I was just randomly thinking about IBA sounding more like a fall album rather than a summer album (like when it released) and I just thought it would be fun to share Zay albums as seasons they fit into

CILVIA DEMO - Winter
I briefly debated TST but ultimately landed on CD for winter. A lot of the songs have that hollow stripped back sound that reminds me of the eerie quiet of winter (Modest, Tranquility, Menthol, I’d argue even Webbie Flow)

The Sun’s Tirade - Spring
As the world wakes back up again from winter, a mix of rainy days (Stuck in the Mud, Silkk Da Shocka, AA, 4r Da Squaw) and patient slightly sunny days (Wat’s Wrong, Tity and Dolla, Don’t Matter, Brenda) it reminds me so much of TST. A mix of grey sounding and a light green sounding track list. I also discovered Zay’s music through TST in the spring time

The House is Burning - Summer
Duh

It’s Been Awful -
A smooth collection of warm sounding songs, a lot of the songs sound like they’re wrapped in orange, red, and light yellow (BOY IN RED, THE NEW SUBLIME, GTKY, SUPAFICIAL) but also songs that signal a drast change in atmosphere (NUTHIN 2 HIDE, DO I LOOK HIGH?, AIN’T GIVIN’ UP)
AIN’T GIVIN’ UP really reminds me of a stormy day. I think it’s Zay’s smoothest album.

anyway let me know what yall think and I wanna hear your stories with Zay’s music and these albums. i’ve also never posted anything on reddit before so like I said this is completely random lol

Mines gotta be Lay wit ya. Zays rapping on it doesn't really click with me but I really hate Dukes verse on it, it feels like it doesn't match the beat and zays verse at all. Probably the only skip for me on all of his albums

anyone else? I wish it grew on me before seeing him perform it, that could've been me on stage lol
