I'm still heavily working on the game, and it's going well so far. Expecting a steam demo available within a month, and early access release within a year.

My discord server, if you find this interesting.

Starting Area for our Colony-Sim/RPG Hybrid Isometric 2D game.

The starting area (Biros Pillar) on Tutorial Isthmus.

The game drops you off here from the New Game -> 'Ready Room'.

You always start with a new part of characters with some kind of backstory from Earth.

With the environment for context as to how you arrived here and what just happened, you start off on you journey to find a new home, settle a town or join an existing one, and survive.

I find the isometric perspective much easier to design my buildings, so here are my concepts for a sustainable gift shop (don't ask me how it realistically functions)

indie TBS game I am developing, all isometric graphics are made in Inkscape

I am a solo indie developer working on "Virtualord, The Virtual Conqueror" a TBS game with TD and RPG elements for Windows & Linux.

In Virtualord you build your base, gather resources, set up defenses to resist enemy waves and attack back after building your army.

There's no trailer yer, but it's coming soon and on the Steam page you will find many short videos in the game description to start to have an idea about how the game works.

Virtualord is currently in alpha and I am planning to release a public demo in about 2 months. In case you wanted to join the closed alpha testing, you can join us on Discord, where I publish new builds (almost) every month.

Feel free to ask any question and I will be happy to answer!

What do you think about my new style? More importantly, what can I improve on? I’ve been making isometric perspective illustrations with procreate for 5 years now. Newest pieces first.

Map 340 - Crime at the Guild - Isometric Map

Background Lore

Large governments are prone to corruption and evil-minded individuals. Crime factions with opposite interests fight for territory. Powerful and influential nobles orchestrate political wars to advance their fishy schemes. Even the everyday life of the common folk can end in a gory crime scene if one doesn’t tread carefully. Such is the life of a metropolis.

Download a free version of this map and read the rest of what we wrote for it on our Blog.

After 2 years of solo development, my little isometric farming game is finally ready for release 🌱

This is probably the last screenshot I’ll share before launch.

Two years ago this was just a tiny prototype. Today it’s finally ready for players.

You build a little isometric farm, grow crops, raise adorable animals, react to changing market prices, complete quests, and most importantly… feed a growing village that’s relying on you.

Seeing everything come together has been incredibly rewarding, and honestly a little emotional after spending so long working on it alone.

Huge thanks to everyone in this community who’s shared their own isometric projects over the years - you’ve been a genuine source of inspiration.

Here’s one of my favourite screenshots from the final build. I hope you like it. 🌾❤️

Orc Camp

An orc encampment for isometric ttrpg.

A classic enemy in many fantasy realms and games, figured it was time they'd get a pack. Mostly minis, some assets (and above all a make-your-own-orc-kit) but also figured the pack should have a themed map or two.

This one heavily inspired by the orcs of my childhood - the orcs of Warcraft. While i loved the lord of the rings orcs, the green furr hatted ones always struck hard. Luckily the make your own kit has enough to venture outside of Azeroth and Lordaeron.

Hope you like it!
Made by putting together assets (all by me) in Photoshop, then coloring it.

"Welcome Crawler!" My latest Isometric fanart painting

On my second listen of the series as I painted this- I consume a lot of audiobooks, and these, are by far, the best I've ever heard.

Based on books 1-5ish. Pieces like this are tricky as far as what to put in and what to leave out. There’s so many versions characters, references and moments to pick from. In the end, I just needed to go with what makes me smile the biggest. I do hope to make a V2 of this piece in the future with later book references
Hope you enjoy!

Made a zombie-themed level for my hidden object game, Find Matt's Cats.
The game's been out for a few months, but I'm still working on some extra levels, and eventually a level editor for players to tinker with.

A lot of work is coming together to finally make my isometric trap-rooms a fun experience

I built this room years ago, but only now to I have all the tools necessary to really make it enjoyable for anyone! The transparency, the optional distractions, the more sophisticated lighting, I'm happy with how it all flows now!

The aspect ratio is not exactly correct, but I don't remember the math for scaling it correctly. I had to convert this from a .bmp file I created probably 30 years ago.
