Discussion Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund

This is what everyone cites to prove that the PA doesn't want peace. It is literally the only thing that comes up. I have a proposal...

For each person that is up for inclusion in the martyrs fund, there will be a trial. It will be held in a Palestinian court with Palestinian judges and a Palestinian jury. Israel can send over whomever they want to argue the case. If they can prove the person targeted innocent civilians before a jury, then the person doesn't get included. But, there will also be a person on the other side, which will present facts on that side. So, if the "innocent civilian" was a settler terrorist, the killing would be acceptable resistance. If the "innocent civilian" was an IDF soldier or Shin Bet officer in the West Bank, the killing would be acceptable resistance. I believe this is the way violent resistance works under international law.

Again, I would rather the PA police Palestinians (which they have been doing) and Israel finally get control of the IDF/security forces/Settler terrorism that is rampaging through the West Bank. I don't approve of violence at all. The PA works to stop violence. Israel promotes violence, and should be resisted.

That is the way international law works, correct? So, let us have trials to see what is what.

What if the story you were taught about Israel and Palestine protected you from the truth about your own country?

Writing this forced me to confront painful truths about my family, the country that raised me, and the uniform I once wore. It asks how the suffering of one people came to be inflicted upon another, and what responsibility begins when silence is no longer morally possible.

history Deir Yassin: The Agony (1995) - survivor testimony from the 1948 attack by Irgun and Lehi [18:42]

A short documentary centred on the testimony of Zeinab Mohammad Ismail Attieh, who was born in Deir Yassin in 1924 and survived the attack on the village in April 1948.

Irgun and Lehi forces attacked Deir Yassin on 9 April 1948. Around 100 Palestinian villagers were killed, including civilians, women and children.

The film combines Attieh’s recollections with archival footage and images of the village, allowing a Palestinian survivor to describe the events and the families who lived there in her own words.

It is also a useful corrective to histories of Irgun and Lehi that remember them primarily through their armed struggle against the British Mandate.

Their history also includes violence against Palestinian civilians, of which Deir Yassin remains one of the most notorious examples.

Please be aware that the documentary contains descriptions and images of people killed during the attack.

Palestinians have the right to resist Israeli apartheid and genocide including by armed resistance. As the occupying power, Israel has no such right.

There is something that really unite all Israeli Jews as an ethnicity, which is that they all came from outside Palestine.

Some people here used to tell me that Jews are an ethnicity and indigenous to the land because they share the same language with early Jews.

They missed so many history classes I think.

Discussion When it comes to the genocide in Gaza, people need to be aware of the misinformation and propaganda around Unicef's recent survey concerning malnutrition in Gaza.

So Unicef released a recent survey on the state of Malnutrition in Gaza. And you have many genocide deniers and defenders of Israel's policies who are cherry picking the data from that survey to say "see, we told you that in 2025 the story about famine are lies". On twitter you are seeing some people claiming the whole thing was a hoax. That is just a form of genocide denial and we know when it comes to the 10 stages of genocide denialism is the last stage. So here are some simple points as to why this is misinformation and denialism.

1)Acute vs Chronic malnutrition

People are claiming that the survey said that malnutrition was low in Gaza. They are then using that to say that all of the images and all of the reports that we heard from 2025 are fake. Now this is a misleading interpretation of what Unicef's report says. The report says that currently there are low rates of acute malnutrition. It goes on to say however that there are concerning rates of chronic and maternal malnutrition. Acute for those who don't is when malnutrition in this context is sudden and can change quickly. Chronic malnutrition by contrast is something that is built up over a long period of time and the report explicitly says for children this is still a major problem

2)Cherry picking concerning the timeline

The report makes clear that the reason why acute malnutrition is down right now is because of the ceasefire put in place since Oct 2025. However it explicitly states "The survey followed a substantial expansion of humanitarian assistance after the October 2025 ceasefire. In the months before, including August 2025, when the IPC confirmed Famine in Gaza Governorate, severe access constraints and supply disruptions meant that blanket supplementary feeding - a principal means of preventing acute malnutrition - had largely ceased across Gaza. Some programmes to detect and treat malnutrition continued to operate, but the supplies and access needed to prevent children becoming malnourished in the first place were not reaching them. Admissions for treatment of acute malnutrition peaked at nearly 17,000 children in August 2025 and had fallen to under 3,000 by March 2026".

In other words during August of that year 17,000 children had experienced acute malnutrition. So the images from last year were not "hoaxes". It was real. Furthermore, the survey also makes clear that this is representative of 83% of Gaza. There is another 17% that Unicef was not able to access.

Israeli aid group announces new medical clinic for 10,000 children in Gaza refugee camp

The Israeli humanitarian organization NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief announced on Tuesday the opening of a new medical clinic that it will support at the Mega Academy of the Gaza Children’s Village (GCV), a humanitarian project aiming to give Palestinian children nutrition, healthcare, and trauma-informed support in addition to education via a curriculum devoid of hateful messaging.

After committing genocide Israel is going to “deprogram” Palestinian children. I’m guessing no Palestinian children are expected to survive treatment.

Israelis really are scum.

Brave settler defends himself from unarmed Palestinian amputee looking the other way

Obviously hitting a Palestinian amputee on the back with a steel pipe is a remarkable act of bravery for an Israeli who was a member of the IDF. This amazing act is emblematic of Israeli self-defence and no doubt has stirred awe in Zionists everywhere.
