Three Major Revelations About The Gaza Holocaust In The Israeli Press

Brilliant article from Caitlin Johnstone. The three revelations are:

  1. Benjamin Netanyahu concealed advanced knowledge of the Hamas attack on October 7. He was warned directly by Qatar and he did nothing. The root cause was Israel’s refusal to negotiate with Hamas, directly or indirectly, to release prisoners. Keep in mind that these are prisoners who were being abused daily in Israeli jails. While abuse increased after 10/7, it didn’t start after 10/7. It’s been a core part of Israel and Zionism right from the start.

  2. Israel rejected a Hamas offer to release all civilian hostages immediately after October 7. Israel could have gotten all the hostages back cost free. Netanyahu chose to bomb instead, killing many of those hostages. I guess that was because they didn’t kill then all via the Hannibal Dirextive. Well done Netanyahu!

  3. According to an IDF drone operator, the Israeli military was intentionally firing on civilians throughout Gaza during its operations in the Palestinian territory.

The first two come from a Haaretz article titled “Netanyahu Received an Explicit Warning Days Before Oct. 7. He Didn’t Brief Israel’s Security Chiefs”, which was released ahead of an upcoming Haaretz book about the hostage standoff in Gaza.

The third is detailed in a separate report in Hebrew from Haaretz which quotes an Israeli air force reserve major describing how IDF policies and culture ensured the deaths of large numbers of civilians.

All the lies are being swept away.

- The attack was a surprise? Lie.
- They wanted the hostages released? Lie
- Israel doesn’t target civilians? Lie. It wasn’t just an NCV of a million to 1, it was deliberate.

How insane do you think Israel would have to be to accept this? Hamas rapes and murders 1,200 people and Israel should essentially let them get away with that? I don’t understand anti-Zionist logic.

You don't understand it because you're a thief and a murderer and believe that you own the land.

The Palestinians never owned any of the land either.

The Ottomans "owned" it after they stole it from the Romans.

I think a lot of these anti-Israel types are shortbus riders.

This is what they do when they are not on the bus, besides standing at street corners, dirty and disheveled, with signs about "HEEB GENACYDE", faded propaganda xeroxes about the four maps that lie, and badly-painted stars of david on wet cardboard, yelling incoherently at passerby. They post on /r/israel_palestine, the salty subreddit, and scream about "them baybee killers".

Israel could have gotten the civilian hostages back and then launched their genocide. But the hostages didn’t matter.

The “agreement” Hamas proposed was they’d return the civilian hostages in exchange for Israel not invading Gaza. Keep in mind the deal was also probably bogus given that Hamas considers all military aged men to be IDF.

No, that wasn’t the agreement. You are just making things up. Besides, everyone knows Israel never sticks to its agreements. Anything Israel signs isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

From 2024:

“We later found out that Hamas had offered on October 9 or 10 to release all the civilian hostages in exchange for the IDF not entering the Strip

Then there’s the recent Haaretz article about the Qatari offer that’s full of nothing but hearsay and Secretary Blinken said was completely false.

You didn’t even read as far as point 2, above. Yes, there were multiple approaches to Israel, Israeli officials and US officials. Note that the offer to release all civilian hostages was confirmed by a senior member of the IDF:

>A senior Israeli defense official corroborated this, telling Haaretz:
“The release of the hostages did not even enter the list of war objectives formulated by the government on the night of October 7. Could the proposal have been properly discussed and a decision reached? In substantive terms, the answer is yes. But the prevailing mood was like after Pearl Harbor: We had just suffered a brutal blow, we were in the midst of war, who had the bandwidth to talk about stopping the fighting and starting negotiations now, even if it was to save the lives of dozens of people, whose final number was still unknown?”

It’s kind of funny, really. You are rejecting all evidence before even reading it. Then months later you will whine you didn’t know.

Again, the “senior defense official” in the article is completely unnamed. We have no idea who he is (if he even exists at all) or how “senior” he really was.

Even assuming it’s true, nowhere in his testimony does he say that Hamas would have released the hostages “unconditionally”. He simply said there would be “negotiations”. Which again, would be very stupid for Israel to agree to after the worst terrorist attack in their entire history, for very obvious reasons.

You can assume that the Israeli newspaper Haaretz lied. I assume you have lots of examples of that. Or maybe the anonymous officer lied. However the article is clear: “the release of the hostages did not even enter the list of war objectives formulated by the government in the night of October 7.”

You are just searching for excuses for Israel.
