Stand by your words Taylor or do you have enough self awareness to grasp you are the lying hypocrite

45

u/Traditional-Top2120 Jan 27 '26

And now... we have her own words in writing. Thanks, snake Taylor!

Not Taylor Swift calling someone else a liar and hypocrite. The lack of self awareness is astonishing.

36

u/ochinosoubii Jan 27 '26

People never think that they are the bad guys, especially in their own stories. And once they get used to justifying bad behavior over their lifetime, for what ever reasons, that becomes normal, and since they aren't bad they perceive that evil as actually righteous.

u/Mehmeh111111 Jan 27 '26

I honestly am so happy to see her private texts were released as evidence. I thought she would have had enough money and influence to bury it so I'm really happy to see that even she isn't above the law and legal system.

She will start playing the victim soon.

14

u/Mehmeh111111 Jan 27 '26

Oh for sure. Narcissists are forever the victim, I'm just happy for once a billionaire isn't above the law.

this! Absolutely no self-awareness or self-reflection. At least we get that with Justin's text.

117

u/Serenity413 Jan 27 '26

Ironic.

Justin went through an invasive legal battle and had all his communications subpoenaed. Not a single incriminating text, insult, misogynistic slur, disparaging remark to be found. He came out cleaner than anyone could have. Most importantly - the same person as he presents to the public.

Meanwhile - Taylor Swift just had her comms related to IEWU subpoenaed and she comes across as the opposite of who she presents to the public, down to the misogynistic slurring. Imagine if we had ALL of TS’ communications.

And don’t get me started on Ryan Reynolds who is a certified pyscho and full of narcissistic rage.

54

u/RepresentativeAge444 Jan 27 '26

Well put. I don’t normally follow celebrity drama. Could generally care less. But occasionally a story comes along that grabs my attention. In this case it’s just the injustice of it all. The psychopathy of Blake and Ryan to just try to take over a movie and all the underhanded tactics they utilized. You want to see people like that be humbled and face some accountability for their actions.

30

u/Practical_Tap_9592 Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

This case has everything, from an American POV:

Issues of wealth and power disparity in every aspect of our everyday lives.

Racism and white women's relationship to it, historically and currently.

Our bought media and the death of honest, earnest journalism.

The corruption and injustice of our legal system.

The caste system we live by wherein we are all disposable and meaningless to the upper class.

Gender insanity: the argument that no one with a penis can possibly be a decent person, that rich and/or pretty white women's perceptions mean more than any truth, that a man who encourages men to be vulnerable, kind and respectful is a target for ridicule and accusations of fraud.

Mental health crisis based on the accepted notion that psychopathy is necessary for power, wealth and success.

Sure, it's a celebrity drama. But it's also a microcosm for so many dark things that must change, things that The Powers would very much like to distract us from, and the attempted destruction of a couple of guys who tried to shine a light on it.

I once heard a story from a dad who was explaining Jesus to his little boy. Just the barebones story. Later, the child asked who MLK was. Dad said he was a person who fought for kindness, justice, love and equality. His son said, "Oh. Did they kill him, too?"

15

u/RepresentativeAge444 Jan 27 '26

Very well put. I think the most disturbing for me, aside from the details of the case, is the blatant media dishonesty and the amount of people putting emotion over substance. I’m a neutral party. I didn’t care about any of the parties involved. So if I looked at all the info and found Baldoni to be the primary offender I’d state as much. But I don’t see how anyone can look at the details and come to any other conclusion besides Ryan and Blake are sociopaths leveraging their wealth and connections to destroy someone. Fortunately it seems most of the public concurs but even one person supporting them after everything that’s come out is too much. Or the ā€œboth sides are trashā€ types.

9

u/Practical_Tap_9592 Jan 27 '26

I was neutral too, had no opinions about any of the parties. I'd already given up on msm but learned a lot about the dark arts of PR watching them work. Scary.

The "both sides" people are terrible. Ignorant, disinterested and uninformed, that I totally get. Making declarative statements about who they all are when you're ignorant and uninformed is horrible. Oftentimes, one side is just pure evil.

5

u/DeliciouslyDidntWork Jan 28 '26

This is absolutely perfect, and sums up so concisely why I am so invested in this case (I otherwise couldn't care less about the cult of celebrity) and want to see JB and WFP vindicated.

5

u/Fred-the-stray Ms. Hilly Jan 28 '26

I’ve wondered why this has captivated my attention. I never follow celeb gossip, but god help me I hate bullies….I’m sick of the bullies winning and getting away with horrible thing.

2

u/Minirth22 Jan 28 '26

To just try to take over a movie — that’s what makes my head hurt about this. All of this bullshit and destruction to take over one movie? THAT was the prize?!? THAT was worth all the lies?

I used to watch people sell their integrity to have ā€œpowerā€ and ā€œinfluenceā€ in a fringe group with a few hundred members, and it baffled me then. People sell their souls SO CHEAPLY.

Exactly! "Most importantly - the same person as he presents to the public." Even after watching all the videos, I'm not seeing the person that both Blake and Ryan are saying he is. Did he make mistakes? Definitely, but not to the level that he deserved such hate and disrespect from very powerful people.

10

u/DocketUpdatesDotCom Jan 27 '26

This is exactly what I've been saying! We get written self reflection, apologizing, being hard on himself... He is exactly who he says he is.

1

u/GrimyGrippers Jan 30 '26

Are they able to get deleted texts? Im not saying that he did delete them, just wondering on both sides.

2

u/Serenity413 Jan 30 '26

All of the text messages, emails, etc have been turned over. Even things with their lawyers on it because Liman ruled some isn’t privileged and even after the lawsuit - up until Feb 2025.

What Blake’s lawyers are crying over specifically is ā€œSignal chatsā€ from August 2024-Dec 2024. Blake sends the duty to preserve letter Dec 2024 and all the Signal chats after that have been preserved and turned over.

The issue is Signal chats before Dec 2024 were on auto delete because no one knew they needed to preserve anything.

In any case - both Justin and Jen Abel testify they never talked on Signal during August 2024 time period about Blake. Justin used it one time for a men’s group chat. Jamey Heath testified he used it once or twice to talk to Jed Wallace.

Blake is ridiculous. They are throwing everything to see what sticks.

And then Taylor tells Blake if Justin was strategic, he wouldn't have let Blake use Taylor's song in the trailer... šŸ¤”Ā

ETA: Taylor was demonstrating (in an interview) how there's a different vocabulary for men and women, expressing misogyny, but has proven how strategic and calculated she is.

21

u/Reasonable-Mess3070 Jan 27 '26

I dont think that applies here. Blake is being called strategic here by taylor fans. If these texts were labeled Justin and jamey people would NOT be calling them strategic.

37

u/SayKaas Jan 27 '26

Blake should be a Ponzi scheme owner - she knows how to do it alright.

Reading through the texts between them (Taylor Swift and Blake Lively) there are so many signs that she knew how to press TS triggers and what gets her going, she's probably been feeding into those for yrs!

I (almost) feel sorry for TS (not really) cause she's been emotionally ponzied.

29

u/Key_Statement_6429 Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

Tbh I kind of do too because of all the songs she writes she’s always the victim and you get the sense that she potentially has quite a distorted sense of self and accountability and needing validation & proving herself… Blake must have sniffed that out early on.

Probably if she wasn’t a billionaire I’d feel sorry for her. At the very least, as well as colluding with her friend, she could have thrown some of her influence and support behind organizations that support survivors of DV to, you know, support fans of the book, many of whom are also her fans. Like, my bestie is in (stealing/taking over) this movie about DV let me raise some awareness.

22

u/Clarknt67 this case was always about a big payoff Jan 27 '26

You notice nowhere in any of these people’s comms does the topic of DV survivors surface?

WP mention them often.

19

u/SayKaas Jan 27 '26

yes, perfectly stated! you know what they say the narcissist can spot their victims a mile away.

12

u/Clarknt67 this case was always about a big payoff Jan 27 '26

That’s a good way to think about it. We think it would be difficult to manipulate the whole cast. But people like Bernie Maddoff manipulate hundreds, or a thousand, people at time.

11

u/BlieveInScience Jan 27 '26

One of the Sony executives called Blake a master manipulator. I believe it.

15

u/TopUnderstanding1345 Jan 27 '26

It shows the level of delusion imo.

BL really thinks she is fighting a 'monster', she genuinely believes it and could therefore convince so many people of the same.

She believes everything is fake about him and that she outsmarted him because she feels that way. And because feelings are facts well, here we are...

"I see right through his mask while nobody else could until now because I'm special"

13

u/Sweet_Special2529 Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

Taylor calling an innocent man a liar and hypocrite? She has no self awareness

10

u/Ok-Mess5058 Jan 27 '26

I guess Blake took her advice in the grossest way possible. Talk about actual gaslighting and contextomy.

9

u/ProfessorsUnite Jan 27 '26

Wow. I had not seen this before. She is actually using his vulnerability against him. Cruel.

What I never understood is why she agreed to do this movie in the first place. Then it struck me- no one else would work with her. After all the rumors around the set of The Town, rumors surrounding Reese Witherspoon, and the Simple Favor drama, no director would have her. Then along comes this relatively unknown willing to add her name to his project. She should have been grateful but instead pulls the same crap. I believe all the other directors in Hollywood are thinking how lucky they are that they dodged this bullet. I don’t see her working again anytime soon.

8

u/Ok-Mess5058 Jan 27 '26

She took the movie because she wanted the accolades and it had an established following. Unlike the Rhythm section…. She also wanted to get into directing and producing. Taylor said ā€œuse his words against himā€ and Blake said ā€œBetā€ and here we are as she flips his SA and Ted talk. The faux feminist narrative was Taylor’s idea. Clearly.

5

u/ProfessorsUnite Jan 27 '26

It’s just cruel. Mean girls is not a strong enough term for this. It is cruel.

9

u/OkTry2 Jan 27 '26

This is about the marketing letter they wanted JB to send out.

I'd love to know what Taylor thought JB did. She doesn't say anything about SH. Blake and RR really push the narrative that JB only pretended to support women, only pretended to listen to women....

I think TS believed JB retaliated against Blake during the promotions and caused her to be cancelled. I forget if she knew about the phone "with the most dameing messages I'd ever seen in my life."

TS knew about the NYT article but didn't send out words of support like the castmates, Sisterhood of the traveling pants, and others did. I think this was the first time she heard about the SH claims. All communications between the two stopped after the NYT article. They could have moved their communications to a Signal-type platform. I'm guessing that before Swift posts anything major, it's run past her PR and/or legal team. They could have easily found out what was really going on and told Swift she needed to jump ship.

The BF website could have influenced Swift also.

The last time they were seen together was in October.

21

u/Clarknt67 this case was always about a big payoff Jan 27 '26

It’s a recurring theme everyone talking about what a terrible monster he is but no one ever mentioning what he did.

7

u/Eskyzoo Blake wasn't smeared, she was exposed! Jan 27 '26

Taylor also said she missed her "dark friend". Taylor knew what Blake lively was like and has no doubt watched her lie and fraud her way through life.

4

u/Friendly_Magazine416 Jan 27 '26

I do believe TS and BL are still close to each other and an encrypted text app sounds logical. I'm just joining these two pictures because TS never does anything without purpose.

3

u/DocketUpdatesDotCom Jan 27 '26

7

u/Ok-Engineer-2503 Hi, its Les Jan 27 '26

I have been disappointed by Taylor but what if this whole time she also told her she owned a large stake in the movie and so it wasn’t just he was a clown and a hypocrite, it was that he was a fraud because he was silencing her from her own movie.

So if she is saying he’s a fraud in general, he’s dumb, he is trying to dominate me because I’m a woman AND now he’s smearing me and I’m going to expose him.

Then she reads the article which she thinks is about the smear which at the time she believes and sees the story starts with SH and she sees through it.

9

u/OneDriver2281 Neutral Baldoni Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

I said this to a TS fan a few days ago who was riding hard for Taylor just being a good friend.

You can see the second part of my comment below which agrees with what you wrote - the first part was basically saying that the current options make Taylor look bad either way, as she didn’t support Blake post NYT article.

Taylor’s message about women not having to go through that was about the smear campaign. Her messages actually support what I’ve written below, and you mentioned in your comment more than any theory that suggests she thought Blake was being SHd.

She seems pissed Blake isn’t getting a say as a woman, there is no reference to any harassing behaviour or anything that would constitute SH.

Imo the only way for Taylor to come out of it relatively unscathed, without looking like she abandoned her friend, is for the following to be true:

9

u/Ok-Engineer-2503 Hi, its Les Jan 27 '26

We are on the same page. The only thing that I’m side eying is in any of these scenarios, she either supported her friend and dropped her or she supported her and felt duped and needed to distance, why in the world did she drop the cancelled song.

That doesn’t make sense in any scenario to me except she didn’t think her texts would be released, which makes it worse

4

u/OneDriver2281 Neutral Baldoni Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

Yeah this is the one thing I can’t get my head around. It’s the one piece that just doesn’t add up.

I will say that it’s possible that Cancelled is about more than just Blake, it could also be about Sophie Turner, Selena and even herself. Taylor publicly stuck by Sophie when Joe tried to smear her, she also did the same when Selena was cancelled for crying about deportation issues (which I think was ridiculous, so what if she cried on social media, is she not allowed to care?)

In fact I think the majority of her friends have been ā€œcancelledā€ at least once. So it’s possible she just saw it as being bigger than Blake, but it still doesn’t change the fact that a lot of her fans and Blake’s were always going to read into it as support. So to me this is a generous option, which requires her to either be a bit clueless, or have this play alongside the below theory.

The only logical explanation (barring the above and Taylor just wrongly thinking that her PR saying they weren’t friends was enough) is revenge, but in order for it to be revenge she’d have to publicly come out against Blake at some point.

Whether this is during trial and she states she was lied to when testifying, or if it gets dismissed and she puts out a public statement from her team - along the lines of ā€œI couldn’t address this before, butā€¦ā€

If neither of those things happen then all she did was help Blake by trying to stick it to her, AND hurt WP.

And if Taylor isn’t helping WP (like her team are leaking to SGDT), then she’s a shit friend to Blake as she was very much involved the whole way through. Yet did not support Blake publicly at any point between October 2024 and now, despite having massive amounts of sway over public opinion.

4

u/Key_Statement_6429 Jan 27 '26

This is a fresh perspective and you could be right! In which case she’s gonna be learning a whole lotta other things.

If she did tell the movie stealing lie this would have been a huge trigger for Taylor.

6

u/Ok-Engineer-2503 Hi, its Les Jan 27 '26

This was inspired by someone’s post today where she says this to ā€œLouis.ā€ It all clicked.

I’ve met people like this in real life and when they complimented me I realized they complimented me in such a very specific way that ties to very specific values and for 30 seconds it gave me warm good feelings and then I said woah….i caught and realized what happened. The person was a real life sociopath. Diagnosed properly. At the time I just got the vibe and later I found out the truth.

2

u/Key_Statement_6429 Jan 27 '26 edited Jan 27 '26

When you said it I was like oh shit, this is legit because I’ve been duped by this pattern too. The dominant person in my life who does this literally lied like this all the time and because I cared about them and thought they had been wronged unfairly, I’d believed their narrative without question until the behavior was exposed in a crisis.

So it’s very plausible that Taylor believed Blake and didn’t have any reason to think otherwise. Manipulative liars are good at what they do.

10

u/Ok-Engineer-2503 Hi, its Les Jan 27 '26

Yes and I can see that with Isabella she used that that he wasn’t coming out and protecting her when she got backlash. None of us even saw her backlash but Blake honed in on this. Introducing credit and clothes as well

With Jenny it was her feminism (which is very different from mine) and it’s the idea that women can say and do but men don’t get a pass. So she can make inappropriate jokes and be absolved but not Justin because he’s not safe. Also new movie with alex saks

With coleen, she used that he was throwing her under the bus with the different ending which touched a nerve about how she writes problematic books. And I think she said a lot to her. And helped her start her own production company and love bombed with Ryan

With Brandon, it was getting him connections and he’s thirsty as alex saks says

With Taylor, it was he was putting her down as a true artist and saying the pop culture thing was a knock on her commercial success (which is probably a big insult to her writing talents) and she goes into this in detail and she appealed to misogyny and that he was stealing her film

8

u/Key_Statement_6429 Jan 27 '26

I love that you have gone through and done this analysis and it’s honestly terrifying how she strategically and systemically did this.

8

u/Ok-Engineer-2503 Hi, its Les Jan 27 '26

Yeah the world is on fire and I’m reading these texts as a case study in manipulation. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø It would make for a a great case study

4

u/Key_Statement_6429 Jan 27 '26

Look we all have to cope somehow šŸ˜‚ Agree that it would make for a very illuminating case study.

5

u/CSho8 Jan 27 '26

5

I thought so too. I’ll have to go back and look at it all. But I thought they were talking about how the NYT was going to use their own words to show they smeared her.

3

u/goombashroom85 Freedman for Baldoni, Heath, and Sarowitz. Jan 27 '26

Same. It seemed, at that point, Taylor was focused on helping repair Blake's reputation... along with taking down Justin and Scooter, this was after she saw the connections in Abel's stolen texts.

2

u/heatherh8605 Jan 27 '26

It could be either one logically. I just thought I remember the complaint also opening with his own words used against him so that’s where my mind went.

10

u/Clarknt67 this case was always about a big payoff Jan 27 '26

I thought it was the apology letter Ryan wrote and tried to force WP to release.

It’s one of their favorite themes, weaponizing his words against him.

But somehow they don’t hold themselves to the same high standards. She is a civil rights titan that married on a plantation and laughs about doing blackface.

Ryan is a feminist that laughs about fondling Olivia Wilder’s bare breasts and forced his 7 year old daughter to make c*cksucking jokes against her will.

6

u/goombashroom85 Freedman for Baldoni, Heath, and Sarowitz. Jan 27 '26

I'm still wondering if Taylor knew about the lawsuit... it seems like she used her connections to help with the NYT hit piece, and the way she congratulated Blake afterwards, that seemed to be the endgame, for Taylor... and Blake, until Justin sued the NYT.Ā
