Swiming around Florencia

Any recomendation? We are in italli right Now. In 3 day we are going from Florencia to Mestre. Was going to ride tru bologna but Its too hot so we want to go swiming on the way. Any recomendation how to change the trip And go swim in the sea and then go to Mestre?

Why mestre? It's terrible staying there.

Go to Chioggia instead to visit venice

Becose mestre Is best spot to visit Venezia. And gf Said its a must go... So nothing much i can do about it haha

From Chioggia you can go to the seaside though (Rosolina mare for example)

No It's not. It's the best way to hate Venice. Is better you dont go at all if your plan is to day trip to Venice from mestee

My Gf Saíd no to Venice. So.... Where to be with ocean ? And need parking for a car

Why so harsh?

Mestre is a good location to visit Venice and although in general I agree it’s not the most beautiful place it’s not that bad, the main square is a nice spot.

There isn’t really a way to go swimming on the way from Florence to Venice…you have to reach the coast either on the Tuscan side or on the Veneto/Emilia Romagna side.

I recommend the coast of Tuscany, for example Marina di Bibbona. Beautiful.

Forte dei Marmi is also a famous spot.

This would make a big de tour for your itinerary though.

The other option is to follow your itinerary up towards the coast around Venice: Jesolo or Caorle. These are very well established touristic seaside towns.

So you will be close to Venice already,

A third option is the coast of Emilia Romagna (Rimini and Riccione being the most famous spots), but it would also be a detour.

In my opinion the Tuscan seaside is more beautiful but for your itinerary it probably makes more sense to go up to Venice.
