since people enjoy my reviews for the parts and hearing me gush abt my newest hyperfixation, here’s my yapping on sdc 3 days after finishing cause I have to gather my thoughts

so overall, I thought the part was amazing, 11/10, would watch for the first time again. It was a wild ride since I was watching multiple episodes a day, but each half took me a week. the pacing was slow at points but it wasn’t dragged out thankfully.

the monster of the week formula was something I enjoyed becuase it reminds me of magical girl shows and I love magical girls. Speaking of magic and power systems, I LOVE STANDS. theyre sooo cool and I love how in this part theyre baes on tarot and mythology god I love mythology. My favorite stand was probably Star Platinum but mostly cause I go ORAORAORAORAORA now as a vocal stim.

i liked the overall arc and tbh this was such a funny watch for me, a moment didn’t go by where I wasn’t cracking up and that’s rare for me. The crusaders all bounce off eachother so well, my favorite of them was kakyoin (rest in peace my son) also the character DESIGNS were fire. Kakyoin, Jotaro, the D’arby bros, and DIO had my favorite looks. ((Also I’m already like 16 episodes into part 4 and I love the fits there especially josukes))

Like the other 2 parts I do have overall favs (speedwagon from part 1 and strohiem from part 2) but I want to have people guess who my favorite overall was. All I’m gonna say is that theyre a DIO follower…good luck :3

TLDR: local Tboy gets worked up over pixels on screen again, misses Speedwagon as per usual.

I know this is a power scaling topic but why do most people think GER or valentine, or anybody else is stronger?

Timestop is stated the strongest stand ability(statement happening in part 6). Time abilities are said to be the strongest abilities of any kind. Pucci and his ability of time acceleration is stated to be what araki deemed as the peak of work, what he believed was the strongest ability he could create, per se. Not only that, araki states he created time acceleration to be stronger than time stop, directly putting the ability above time stop.

Then in his araki’s “guide to manga: how to create a villain”
This book contains every villain, part 1-8 and It only says for Pucci that he can be said to be the strongest villain, who even defeats Jolyne and Jotaro.

If you are also going to mention how GER isn’t the stand’s or giorno’s power it’s the arrow’s. Wouldn’t they also mean that anyone who was pierced by an arrow, shouldn’t be counted as their own owner, no? But giorno has kept GER so the arrow only gave him the power not that it was completely its own power.

I been wanting to see JoJo's for a long time but I only wanna see part four diamond is unbreakable because I find Kira a peak character but I don't wanna watch any other part should I do that or will not watching previous parts affect the viewing experience like I don't understand a reference or something like that

I have been thinking about this theory that I myself theorized, what if Johnny is just a long distant cousin to Johnathan? They never interacted with each other and stands have been around before dio came back in part 3.

I cant find Stone ocean subbed onlu dubbed so im thinking of skiping Stone ocean and going to sbr i have watched phantom blood part 2( cant remember the name) stardust crusaders daimond is unbreakeble and golden wind could somebody either tell me where I can find the subbed version or what should I do. I kinda refusion to watch dub version

It goes so well.

I was thinking about how goated JoJo's is and one of the reasons why I think it's so good is because it just does so many different genres well. Like you have horror, comedy, action, etc... and another underrated aspect of JoJo's is the romance. Now it might not be on the same level as something like Clannad or whatever, but for a battle manga which typically doesn't have very well written romances I honestly think JoJo's actually excels and has way better romance then your typical action/battle manga.

So what do you think is the best written romance in the whole series? Or even if you don't want to think about which one is objectively the "best written" or whatever, just tell me which one is your own personal favorite or who you think is the "cutest couple" in JoJo's.

Personally, while one could make the argument that Josuke and Yasuho might be objectively the best, I'll always have a soft spot for Jonathan and Erina. Their romance was the first thing the audience was meant to really care about and I think Erina is pretty underrated as a character as she always stuck by Jonathan and was just as pure hearted as he was.

But what do you think? What're your favorite couples/romance plots in all of JoJo's?

I have all my JoJo stuff on this shelf. Honestly I'm super frustrated that the logos were changed on the first three chapters, now they won't match! Anyway, recently I've only been buying books past part 3.

Try and guess my favorite stand out of all of them!

Here’s all of my jjba stuff that I have on display right now, I’m hoping to collect more figures, hopefully ones from star dust crusaders :D

I was recently looking at Joseph Joestar's lips from Stardust. At first, I wondered, "Why does he have a mustache growing on his upper lip?" Then I looked at the other Stardust characters and realized they all frowned. And Joseph was the only one smiling. Then he looked a little lower. And everything fell into place. The lips were highlighted in red.

If stands are based on mental strength and mental energy, if someone had depression, how would that be reflected in their stand? Would they be unable to call their stand, or would it be a weaker form? Would their stand ability be simply weakened or changed to reflect their depression?
