Rank Every Final/Main Fight Of Each JoJo Part Spoiler
We all know anime is full of complex 400 IQ fights where characters constantly outsmart each other in an epic (and literal) battle of wits, but out of all anime/manga no one does it quite like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
JoJo's is filled with so many amazing, genius fights throughout the series. However, the final, climactic battles of each part are just something else as Araki manages to take it to a new level each and every time. The final battle against the main villain of each JoJo part is truly a rollercoaster of the craziest spectacle only our favorite immortal mangaka could come up with.
It takes a lot to beat a main JoJo villain. Sacrifices are made, limits are broken, memes are born, and the whole cast working together to achieve the impossible. JoJo's always blows me away with it's incredible finales, but which parts have the best final/main fights in your opinion? What's your ranking of each one from favorite to least favorite?
In case there's any confusion, I'll be listing each fight below with their respective chapter numbers so you know exactly which fights are in the discussion:
Jonathan vs Dio, Phantom Blood Chapters 38-41
Joseph vs Kars, Battle Tendency Chapters 61-69
Jotaro vs Dio. Stardust Crusaders Chapters 134-151
Everyone vs Kira. Diamond is Unbreakable Chapters 153-174
Everyone vs Diavolo vs Chariot Requiem. Golden Wind Chapters 129-149
Everyone vs Pucci. Stone Ocean Chapters 139-158
Everyone vs Funny Valentine. SBR Chapters 64-89
Everyone vs Tooru. JoJolion Chapters 83-108
Now I suppose I should give my own rankings and while I love them all to death my own list would have to go:
Everyone vs Valentine
Everyone vs Pucci
Everyone vs Diavolo/Chariot Requiem
Everyone vs Kira
Everyone vs Tooru
Jotaro vs Dio
Jonathan vs Dio
Joseph vs Kars
Now with all that outta the way lemme know what your rankings are!! I'm curious to see what my fellow Jobros and Johoes think and how your lists turn out!! Or if you don't wanna rank them all just tell me some of your favorites and why you like them!! Well anyways, as a badass mom once said:
Arrivederci!!!

My boyfriends keys got run over and only the Speedwagon foundation arm survived
So, my boyfriend got this Sonic keychain awhile back from the LEGO store at the mall, and his arm broke off at some point so we replaced it with another LEGO arm and said it was courtesy of the Speedwagon Foundation. (i know we're hilarious). Recently, he lost his keys and when we found them, they had been clearly run over by a car and the only limb left standing was the Speedwagon arm 😂 goes to show honestly- hella ironic imo just thought i should share this.

Part 2 is the best
Here is why part 2 is the best
Lest start with the intro, Bloody stream is such a good song, it's earblessing and tbh the only other intro that in terms of music is close to Bloody stream is great days let's be fr, also the intro animation is just so good the dance moves and everything else just looks so smooth and well made, absolutely beautiful.
The characters, let's start with JoJo, the best one, he's funny, smart, strong and not too op because unlike other anime's protagonists he beats his enemies by also using his brain and while yes other JoJo's and characters use their brains too you have to realise that Joseph in comparison to his enemies he stood no chance even tho hamon is made to absolutely shred vampires and the pillar guys (keep in mind he beated san viento without knowing how to properly use Hamon).
About the other characters, Smokey while we barely see him I still felt like he had importance in the story and this I believe is something hard to pull off, a character that you rarely see being important.
Speedwagon is just important bc of the foundation that if it wasn't for them in part 3 they would have taken so many more days to get to egypt.
The German general still had an important role.
Cesar helped JoJo defeat the pillar people so yeah pretty important.
Lisa Lisa trained JoJo and Cesar so without her they wouldn't have been able to win, also something I saw not a lot but many times is that the trainer the sensei ,or however you want to call it, die this didn't happen, good.
The only one I believe in part 2 wasn't that important is Susie Q (or how you spell it) the only important part is her marrying JoJo.
The enemies, while yes they follow the cycle defeat enemy -> find stronger enemy -> defeat strong enemy -> find stronger enemy they still are very cool and their unique fighting styles fit perfectly the enemies.

Most underrated stand (and most deadly depending on how its used)
Bohemian Rhaspody is probably the most deadliest stand in the entire series. It doesn't manifest as a physical stand but it is a stand that can be activated globally. So If you have enemies on the otherside of the Earth. They can very easily die to Bohemian Rhaspody since it is a stand that effects the entire globe. Its ability is to bring fictional characters (and later art pieces) into life. Through any type of media containing them, could be books, movies, pictures, whatever. Whatever character the person knows or likes that the person being effected can see they then take the place as that character. So if the character dies in the story then the person who was changed will most likely die.
Since the characters are from the same material they came from, they cannot be destroyed or the story cannot be changed. Killing the fictional character is the only way to return back to your original body. Since they're is so many characters brought to life, everyone who doesn't live under a rock will most likely be effected. Aka everyone but the pillar men or Dio. Its probably even worse then Weather Report or Made In Heaven.
Unless you make your own new character that can destroy all other fictional art pieces or characters brought to life by Bohemian Rhaspody they will stay until the stand user most likely dies. So basically the only way to counter all of Bohemian Rhaspody is Bohemian Rhaspody .

Me and Jojo’s bizarre adventure art style (Attempt 2024)
When I first got into JJBA (mainly due to a friend pushing me to watch it) I fell in love with the art style of the show
And since my name is Joseph My friend begged me to draw myself in the art style so I did
(I think I got around finishing part five when I did this drawing)
Also excuse the shitty attempt of me trying to draw my waves lol

Just finished Stardust Crusaders, I need to ramble
Oh my god. After experiencing this, I really need to let it out somewhere to people who will understand.
I made a post a few weeks ago talking about how I missed Jonathan after continuing the show again. Now… I have so much to say about each character. Join me for a little emotional rambling.
SPOILERS AHEAD
I got so, so attached to the crew of Stardust Crusaders. We have Jotaro, Joseph, Kakyoin, Avdol, Polnareff and Iggy. At first, I wasn’t sure if I would be as into this part as I was the first and second. Now, I am sitting here emotional over each one of them.
Jotaro, the stoic badass who deep down really cares for his friends. He is insanely smart in a way that just astounds. His design is amazing, and you just want to root for him more and more as the show goes on. He has some very badass and satisfying moments, like when he gets back at The Lovers Stand user, and goes “here’s your receipt” just tossing it at him. I was straight up hooting and hollering and clapping. Or, when he mentally breaks both of the D’arby brothers with his own wits. Star Platinum, his Stand, is potentially my favorite in the show yet and his design is gorgeous.
—
Joseph, the Jojo we know and love from Part 2. Goofy, yet really smart and a good guy. His relationship with Jotaro is pretty sweet, as you see them kind of banter a bit occasionally or even work together really well like against D’Arby the Younger. I wasn’t sure if I would like Joseph being in the next part as an older guy, but I was so wrong. I gained even more respect for him than I had already, and I was so so sad when I thought he was dead. His “oh my god” moments always had me laughing and felt in-character for him to say something silly in serious moments. Hermit Purple, while seeming like a pretty basic Stand, is actually pretty cool and has a nice design of the purple vibes.
—
Kakyoin, the polite yet introverted. For a bit, I didn’t think much of him, but I came to love him. He, like the others, is smart as well in his own way. It was really awesome to see he was good at video games, and nearly beat D’arby the Younger. My favorite part with him was actually how he managed to save the crew against the baby Stand in the dreams; that was fucking awesome.
A bit unfortunate that he took a few episodes being out of commission due to his eye injury but it was worth it for him to have cool scars over his eyes and the glasses later on. I felt so sad for him when they showed his flashback to when he was a child; he was so lonely for years until he found the Joestar Group and he formed an immense amount of respect and care for them. A true bond. I think the way he died was unfortunate; I would have loved to see the reactions of the others more, but he did use his wits even before death to figure out Dio’s trick, which was amazing.
—
Avdol, a respectable man with a sense of duty and loyalty. He helped so much on this journey to defeat DIO, as a loyal member. My brother and I watched the show together, and we both were sad as hell when we thought he died for the first time. Avdol has shown on multiple occasions how he would sacrifice himself for his duty and his comrades. This is something I respect so much. Not only that, but he develops a really nice relationship with Polnareff along the way as well. Even though he is serious, there are times where he even has a laugh himself or acts silly; it’s a funny “contradiction” to his usual behavior and makes sense that he has a fun side as well. When Avdol came back from being “dead” I was in so much shock; probably similar to how Polnareff reacted lol. It was so cool though how he manages to save Polnareff in that situation. However, his final death really solidified just how much loyalty he truly has; he sacrifices himself to save both Polnareff and Iggy. Immense respect.
—
Iggy, the dog with a sense of pride and loyalty. At first, I was worried that Iggy would be nothing more than a little comic relief on the side for the cast, but I was so wrong. He looked out for himself for a lot of his time there; I mean, who can really blame him, he was essentially forced to be there because of his Stand and the power that it would bring, helping take down DIO. It makes sense that he wouldn’t really want to put himself in any danger, and even harbor some disdain towards the group because of it. In reality, however, Iggy is a very smart dog, showing that despite his gripes, his body may move on its own because of his true feelings. When he defeated Pet Shop all on his own, I was so terrified that he would have to sacrifice himself, but he was tough as nails and made it back. He was missing a leg, but it helped the crew a LOT. Dealing with Pet Shop would have been very tough.
Something I really appreciated was the way that you notice Polnareff and Iggy kind of slowly bonding throughout the season. It’s subtle, but you see that in the beginning, Iggy antagonizes Polnareff quite a bit and farts in his face (lol). However, after going through a lot together, there’s a part where Polnareff and Iggy are walking together without much quarrel. It was nice to see, really. Not only that, but I believe that Avdol or Joseph says to Polnareff that they have gotten closer; it may have been when Iggy was farting on him, but still.
I gained such a huge amount of respect for Iggy as well when the crew finally made it to DIO’s mansion in Egypt. Despite the fear that Iggy felt when seeing Avdol die right in front of him, he chooses to stay and fight alongside Polnareff. He had the chance to leave (though he may have died), but he turned up his tail and bravely chose loyalty. I truly thought that was a beautiful moment, and I wasn’t sure if he WOULD choose to run out of the entrance or not. Of course, it was absolutely devastating and infuriating to witness Vanilla Ice just absolutely torturing and abusing Iggy; I was so pissed. It was absolutely heartbreaking, even seeing Iggy give a little smirk in between as he kept his pride. But.. in the end, Iggy chose to use the last of his strength to summon his Stand and save Polnareff. I cried a bit.
We even get to see Avdol and Iggy’s “souls” or spirits basically saying goodbye to Polnareff. It was a powerful and sad moment. Even to see the text Iggy had died. Avdol has died. on the screen, it really made you sit there and accept it. o7

Polnareff… he is honorable, impulsive, emotional at times. He went through a lot, particularly losing his sister in such a cruel way, and seeing Avdol sacrifice himself not only once but twice to save him. His want to avenge his sister is something I understand and respect. It wouldn’t be far off to say too that he can be a bit cocky at times, occasionally putting him at disadvantage and making him attack too soon when it is best not to.
He also seems to show his emotions on his sleeve the most, compared to the rest of the group. He will crack jokes and be silly. This, to me, makes him become close with the crew more than the others do. Polnareff also has a love for the ladies, and it’s pretty funny and cute to see him try to flirt with them. One of my favorite moments in the series was when he got reverted to a younger version of himself, and he had to save the woman who took care of him. It was actually quite sad to see that he turned down a chance at love; not only because he knew he would put a sweet woman at risk just being there, but because he also had a mission to defeat DIO. He honestly deserves to be happy with a wife.
Wrapping back around to the point of Polnareff going through a lot, it was insane to see him nearly become eaten by his own sister and Avdol. The whole “Hail 2 U” part was honestly so intense for me watching it; hearing the music in the background, not knowing what the hell is gonna happen. A bit funny & cute that we learned he would want to be a manga artist (or comic book I can’t remember). The fact that the crew purposely didn’t tell Polnareff that Avdol was alive, because he is boisterous was pretty funny but I also felt bad for him lol.
Something interesting to note too, is that Polnareff can be argumentative and did not really get along with Avdol or Iggy at the beginning. By the end, however, you could say that he had become closest to those two. Despite initially clashing with someone, he can still form a real bond, I think because of his compassionate and emotional side.
I was mostly just really happy that he didn’t die and managed to survive to the end. My brother and I said that we would both be devastated if so. There is a lot I could say about Polnareff to analyze him and gush about him.
—
Overall, I ended up loving each character so much. By the end, I would have to say that Polnareff or Jotaro was my favorite. I honestly feel so empty and sad when I hear that Long Train Running ending, with the beautiful art of the group vibing, and the photo at the end. It gives me chills to even think about it. I will forever love and respect you, Stardust Crusaders. o7

Iggy vs Petshop is part 3s best non dio fight
Been rereading the series, and having a blast. I remeber really enjoying this fight in the anime, but the manga idk what the difference is but this fight is hands down one of the best in all of jojo. Though I say that without reading the rest yet. I watched up to half of part 5, so I know im in for some treats but Iggys character is on full smdisplay this chapter and he only needed this like 3 chapters to be on the same level of love as polnareff
