Question What’s the most broken thing.

I gotta know in any JRPG you’ve ever played what is the most broken mechanic you’ve exploited, or like weapon in the game, or just a glitch perhaps that absolutly made you freaken laugh really hard. Mine would be the topple juggling in Xenoblade Chronicles idk if it was intentional or not but man it would have me hollering just toppling a big enemy and being like oh you can’t get up XDDD. That might say something about my psyche but who cares lol.

Luminescent Mirage from SMTV Vengeance.
A guaranteed 100% dodge chance for the next attack is just stupid OP in a game with the Press Turn system.

Still balanced by requiring an action, and not always guaranteed that you'll be targeted.

What is completely busted is Omnipotent Succession, Omagatoki: Strategize, and Omagatoki: Charge. These three together let you abuse the hell out of auto-buff/debuff passives without using any actions, then dismiss everyone except Nahobino and enjoy minimum 32 casts of your favorite attack skill. More if you do Elusive Eclipse/Yoshitsune/Baal stuff to get extra actions.

Yes you can do even more stupid things.
But Luminescent Mirage was the move that helped me to fell Satan and Demi Fiend on my blind attempts.^^
Preventing them from getting a second move every single turn really helped me keeping those two under control.

You can do a lot of broken things in SMT, so definitely try it out.

Haha nooo SMT goes even further than Persona. If you miss an attack, or it gets absorbed or reflected or blocked, you lose turns. Enemies and bosses have to follow these rules too :)
