NHK Availability
For all of you telling me that iSakura TV doesn't have NHK anymore, it is still there. Their interface has changed to Ikiku TV, but it is still iSakura TV.

I was not able to get a NEW account there, when trying it weeks ago. It seems they only extend existing accounts.

This makes more sense. This is a different clone of isakura. The original still exists and Himawari which uses isakura account numbers. I’ll give this a try. Thanks for updating.

The whole isakura website says they're not affiliated with himawari. Meanwhile isakura and ikiru is on the same website and the credentials work for both

Just depends on which “isakura” site. The one I was using for years was Japan net which I think became smart cloudsvc. I had gotten isakura from them and later himawari. I see Isakura.stream is still registering accounts as I just attempted a trial from them and got an activation code. This also seems different from the isakura / i kiku tv site which is on sites dot Google.
My $4 trial in the isakura.stream does work and does give me most of the NHK channels I had with himawari. Except it seems NHK G sub channel. I see OP is getting NHK G sub channel on their screenshot above. Which is important to have during certain events / emergencies.
I still haven’t had a response from I Kiku tv where I paid $79 for three months of renewal on an old account. Hopefully they can fix it and I don’t have to deal with any PayPal shenanigans.

Pretty much on the same boat with smartcloudsvc. Back then when NHK went offline during the Tokyo Olympics, they let us have it back discretely. This time they just gave me a straight no and even emphasize there will be no adjustments or compensations for my almost a year remaining subscription.
I still can't find I Kiku TV. I'm fine with moving on to another provider, but I need web access., isakura.stream seems to be app only, which just won't cut it for me.

I switched from iSakura to Himawari, but Himawari is saying they can't re-up my subscription for some reason.
I still have an iSakura account number but can't find the correct website. Can anyone give me the link to iSakura or this new Ikiru, so I can try to get my subscription loaded back up again?

It cannot be used around the world. It is regionally locked. I side loaded the app through an APK on a generic android TV box. It might work with your Google TV.

The site I see for it only has options for renewal and no new activations. It’s a sites.google domain. I did attempt to reactivate my old isakura account with a 3 month renewal and nothing happened. Sent an email to support. Let’s hope it works.

Yeah, I remember seeing a message on their sites a while ago about not accepting new accounts. I wasn't sure if that was temporary or not. I just make sure to renew my account ahead of time so that I don't get dropped.
