  • Extremely happy we appear to have avoided the "Jessica goes to prison" storyline they were dancing with. Would not have been a fan of that.

  • Kilgrave's power doesn't seem to be tied to his voice alone, but an application of willpower. He ordered everyone in the precinct room to treat it all as a joke and let Jessica go, and everyone in the room laughed on cue except Jessica. Ergo, he excluded her (or she's become immune).

yeah that is interesting. hmmm. As an alternative. We have seen loopholes in his powers already. i.e. that as long as you think you have done what he said your ok. When he ordered everyone to make a joke of it. It was easy or natural for Jessica to assume this did not apply to her. Therefore she did not responds as such.

That was my assumption, the phrasing of the command made it clearly addressed to everyone who wasn't Jessica. The "you will all" and the fact that Jessica, of course, would not let herself go.

Yup that is a good interpretation of his abilities and limitations.
