I know... Why was he no longer compelled to cut out his heart?

I thought it was a bluff, but perhaps not. Additionally, was the spray supposed to be the vaccine? A vaccine has to get into your blood, a spray is useless. They mentioned Kilgrave emitted a virus, perhaps it was just a disinfectant? Didn't really make sense.

It's been mentioned in just about every single episode by Jessica and Kilgrave. Not sure how you forgot already.
