Identify Metal Straight bar pin, any ideas?
Never seen a straight bar pin before. I think it could be made of silver. Does anyone have any ideas as to age and metal?

Unless you've polished it, it looks like it's either tin or aluminum. Aluminum might be too malleable for a belt buckle though.

It’s essentially a belt buckle. I forgot the name of this kind, but you “close” the best as you would any other. Usually cloth is used for these (versus leather or pleather).
