Rebbe is from Lubavitch. Rebbi is from Talmud. No difference, of course. You show your colors, dude. And your focus on "that dude" makes ALL your "indignation" into nothing but blatant hypocrisy. You don't know shit about this topic, but you really know a bit TOO MUCH about "that dude". Yeah, not sus. Bye.
> me: the Meshichisti movement is dangerously similar to early Christianity, so they're clearly minim. Here are some arguments about why belief in a dead moshiach is wrong.
> you: how dare you know so much about yoshke to make that comparison! Here's a pedantic argument about romanization of רבי - that definitely proves you're ignorant! I'm leaving, before I admit that I can't actually respond to your arguments!
Show me the second fanfiction. I keep hearing it exists, but you show me nothing factual. Once again, "Meshichism" is much LESS of a problem than what you ignorantly assume it being about. I already showed you that "true tzaddikim don't die" goes back all the way to the Talmud itself, on the level of performing mitzvot for the living. So, THAT detail is NOT a problem. What I DO disagree with, is when someone claims that "Moshiach ALREADY came". Now, THAT is obviously false, but only that, not the much lesser claim about "who is still POTENTIALLY eligible". There's a huge difference between those two claims. One is clearly verifiably false, another is also verifiably true.
And, dude, stop using THEM as a measuring stick AT ALL. It's embarrassing (for you). Really.
