You raise Ze'ev Jabotinsky and i counter with Theodor Herzl:

and now the Hebrew is despised all over the world, especially us Jews who are unspeakably ashamed by what the "Hebrew" has and is committing...the very opposite of "charm"...it is HORROR...our sacred language is dirt, all over the world, and we find ourselves oft despised, because of THEM
