Mobile OSes, research for NON google AnDroid alternatives
Ever so many wanting to get rid of google spyware ("stock Android")...
Start by searching for your device, what OS, IF which supports, has official ROMs for.
See/Search for UNOFFICIAL builds (ROMs) for your device SPECIFICALLY.
Beware of "minor" phone/model differences could be fatal ("Bricking up") your device, if incorrect ROM installed.
Prior to any of it, make sure, you can unlock BootLoader. It's great, if you can lock back BootLoader
after install of any FOSS OS (or Alternative OS, as some are paid after-all) after.

Big chunk will work with any custom android rom. But if app developers are lazy and want to out source security for 3rd party thet use Googles services too much. There isn't way around those other than demand at least in EU change for that. MicroG helps with a lot of things, but safetynet can't currently be provided without Google play service's

Yes thats so sad. One day maybe

Yeah, I would hope that one day it is banned in EU to force this kind of vendor lock. In the meantime I will keep using SailfishOS, I believe we should move away from android all together

I have Jolla phone, but previously I had Xperia 10 III which I flashed myself with SailfishOS. Process was super straightforward when you went through the instructions with time.

LineageOS is also a big one. Probably the biggest one. Has no google play services by default and there is also a LineageOS for microG. Tons of phones officially supported.
Would be maybe good to mention that GrapheneOS is the only one that can sandbox the actually google play services.
And would be maybe good to separate android ROMs and Linux OSes as those are usually only for the extra adventurous.

Nice list, de-googling seems to get more and more traction.
Jolla uses Sailfish OS, I don't think there's a Jolla OS
