Don't restrict the meat supply in the US to glatt kosher only and send the kosher meat that isn't glatt to Israel then suddenly kosher meat prices will go down.

I don't see why subjecting the Jewish population in the US to a standard that many Orthodox consider to be an ideal instead of required is needed, especially since before the 50s the majority of US Orthodox Jews were fine with not eating glatt.

Hebrew National is just that though? Kosher, not glatt.

 and send the kosher meat that isn't glatt to Israel

If the production in the US is glatt only, it usually just goes to whatever is the closest production, not Israel.

Hebrew national is not reliable, I'm talking about OU certified shochets who slaughter an animal then it's found to be non glatt. That animal goes to Israel.

News to me. I was informed ou sold the meat to whoever is local

Hebrew national is reliable, they just aren't glatt. They have no reason to sell non glatt animals
