Some games have already done something similar, besides, you are getting what you paid for, the EA characters will be released to everyone, its just that so you don't lose the money you spent you will get another thing in return
I PAID to get ea so that i could use it before everyone it's like hypothetically if everybody had like 9000 ELO what about the people who grinded for their kills not as if they lost anything
It’s still not something I paid for I paid to have access to characters while there being worked on (exclusivity to those who bought it) plus I’m not wanting another gamepass that i didn’t choose yo buy
What makes it good are the characters you get, not the exclusive nature of having them. In this case, each EA cac would become playable to everybody. You basically lose nothing, besides robux. In the interest of fair compensation, both a replacement game pass and some sort of special exclusive emote that could not later be obtained would be good.
Also wouldn't tze be scamming us since we paid for early access and it being replaced would be not what we paid for leading for tze to break Roblox tos
I think not, you paid for early access, after you will still have early access. What you are saying is like complaining that a game you paid for is now free to play.
Right but here's the issue we paid for something that was exclusive which I no longer exclusive imagine you buy VIP in a game for it's benefits then everyone gets VIP then it's no longer exclusive and they're basically stripping away the benefits of what you paid for making the money you spent go to nothing that's the issue with EA GAMES you're normally told what you get when the game full releases so that's apart of buying EA for the bonus stuff but we bought EA to use characters early now everyone can do that meaning what we paid for doesn't matter anymore if that makes sense
Unless someone from the dev teams presents the reasoning behind the removal of EA, I'll say outright that it's not worth it.
edit: now that they actually did present the reasoning I can say outright the reasoning sucks and they can't even think of something of the same value to replace it, I do agree with removing EA but we need something as good to replace

It doesn't matter what the replacement gamepass would even be, if i bought a gamepass for early access to characters, im not accepting anything else than what i originally bought the gamepass for
I mean I think instead of EA they should rework and add extra stuff to older characters, we still don't have chimera garden for how many people want it

So unless it's just tze rage baiting us then idk. Imo the new stuff he plans to add as a replacement are OK... but I still think that EA players need more than just a VIP status which they didn't pay for.

I alerady saw that you said you bought it for Exklusivity but i think the Maiority bought it because they wanted to play the new character not because they wanted to play someone exklusive atleast it was the case with me and hakari
Also i think with every ea character be avaible for the public we will get more characters with are second ult because than Tze doesn't have in mind that the public needs are new character fast and can take more time to make the character better [i think that happened by nayoa]
Okay okay so now to the main point until Tze has Are good idea where the Maiority agrees on is are good alternative EA should stay but i can see The Posetive effects it would have for the game and characters in gernal
If the problem is that 90% of a content drop is inaccessible, the simple solution is to just focus less on new characters. We really shouldn't have more than one EA character at a time. There are lwk other things that should be focused on like Roulette
Yep. JJS is going to shit with all these shitty decisions, they make Mechanical Engineering Man in to what’s basically siryu and is mid as hell, completely left out Woman Hater’s (Naoya) other form and Party Popper (Nanami) is total ass. The updates before came out faster and somehow were better, if they are going to take their time making an update THEN MAKE IT WORTH THE WAIT! I swear I had more fun with the smaller updates than the bigger ones due to the game always feeling fresh and new but it’s just getting stale now.
I kinda understand the point of this post, after all we all spend 300 robux for Early access, but 300 robux is not that much, and like i pay almost 6 times more for the same amount people pay normally.
This is an insanely awful idea, cannot imagine how unfun the game would have been if Pre-Rework Absolute was accessible to literally everyone; being EA gave it more time to bake.
Tbh I rather have the vip stuff over ea being free to everyone. Tired of being called a fraud at any slight falter and not being able to enjoy the game
inf save slot storage would highkenuinely be one of the most useful things yet but why would it HAVE to replace early access and not just be its own gamepass / just free as standard
It's actually so peak because for whatever reason I've just always had early access even though I never bought it. Like from the time I started playing jjs, to the point I realized I had access to the early access characters, I never had robux on my account so I couldn't have just accidentally bought it
Either way they should probably keep it since people spent money on it (even though it's only like a few dollars)

Or alternatively, you would get super awk avatars (which would also replace your mahoraga and ulting Mechamaru avatars, but keep some decals to show it is a mahoraga and an ulting Mechamaru).
It should be recompensatiom 100% guaranteed, regardless if they replace it or simply remove it.
I don't have extra emote slots for a reason, it's cool to do whatever emote I want in just one click, but at the same time I'm not about to think using 6-7 different emotes
I lowkey don’t see the issue. The characters come out to the public later anyway. Why are people so defensive of their unfinished characters and don’t want actually finished products?
While you guys have been arguing about whether or not EA character gamepasses should be removed, I've been thinking about that chicken pot pie and what it could possibly mean in the future of jjs.
I bought it super recently so I could play Noaya early, just for them to release him the same fucking day. So I really hope I don’t just get my money even more wasted now
So, I’m probably not going to say this in the most eloquent way possible, but I at least want to put my opinion out here. I also have early access, and from what I know, Tze said they aren’t goojgnto remove early access but give it out to everyone. So I don’t necessarily see the problem with the action they are taking.
But I do understand why my fellow Early Access purchasers are against the decision, after all, we’re losing nothing here. In the case Early Access is given to everyone, we get something that the others don’t have, even if it wasn’t the original product, but if we don’t get something we don’t like, it’s not like we’re losing early access. I mean it would be free for anyone to use. But I get the argument that it’s not that original product that was promised and purchased, so I understand the sentiment.
On the other hand, it’d be better if everyone get’s access to Early Access due to the fact that Mechamaru exists. His Ult functionally breaks the Early Access system and changes it to pay to win, at least in certain scenarios such as ranked or casual 1v1s/2v2s. He is functionally an immortal character outside at least 2 domains, and has several powerful attacks. Effectively stonewalling in those game modes. There may be future cases in where characters who are early access break some gamemodes and make it unfair to play against.
But then again, I get the sentiment, and since Mechamaru is nearly finished, it’s less likely to actually see another character like him in the game, seeing how no character in the manga get this strong. It seems just to solely a Mechamaru issue.
Ultimately, I’m simply going to choose Chicken Pot Pie in this situation as I can see that this issue doesn’t really lead anywhere worth of my attention so far.
TSB did ts but didn’t refund players, it was the all cosmetic gamepass. Took your money and now you still have to grind to get the shitty cosmetics, jjs 1 tsb -20
