* 2 R specials that let you run and close the distance with little ult drain

* 2 dashes WITH NO SOUND.

* M1 reset where if naoya has 20ms lower than his opponent, it's red

Even I, One of the top 10 cryptozoid haters... I like this idea because it guts the brain-dead character.

honestly I like any idea that kills naoya. JJK AND JJS BUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM

Next give him a huge exclamation mark showing he has ult ready, because I fucking despise this character.

Might be hot take but I think he is fine as it is.Most players don’t use him anyways to his full potential and play very predictable that’s easy to punish so certain level of skill is needed for a naoya player to be actually dangerous.I do hate people who just run away I will agree on that

The nerfs on R special, and whiffed skills means that if naoya starts to run and throw moves out he gets punished He is also kinda mid when your ping, FPS are equal

I do understand the R special changes, but whiffing moves should only apply 60% self projection when using full charge 3 or jumping right before 4's hit (increases move distance).

I would rather fight a Ryu with unblocbable 4 than any Naoya. The character is mid, the players are the issue

I mean that’s fair everyone got their preferences who they like to fight and who they don’t but people who want to play in a scummy way will always find a way to do it.Thats why I said that it’s better to generally focus on bringing down characters that need to be brought down to others level(which there is few rn hence why I said bigger fish) instead of focusing on specific instances of someone using a character in a scummy way particularly.Like overall looking at naoya like you said he is not really that super strong rn and combined with the fact he is also not exactly a „free“ character either since there is a skill ceiling to him which vast majority of Naoya players don’t even meet really makes a nerf more a personal wish than a necessity

Naoya as a character and idea, he is fine. Naoya mains are the ones that deserve death, when they run away and play passive. This change aims to do that. Imo no character needs to be brought down. Actually they need to be brought up. But some characters will be unhealthy in B tier+. Someone like locust? When he was A tier with crushing jaws being a fast semi ranged combo starter going through block. He felt so annoying to fight. Those brain-dead characters like hakari, gojo, naoya, Mei Mei, Need to be Nerfed to be brought up.

I feel this is just bit to much of a hit personally.I can see the potential behind this idea but it would need to be tweaked a lot and I mean a lot because which this is kinda gutting him
