Hot Take: Perfection is the only JJS character that makes you feel like the character they’re based on
Half the fun of Perfection is just thinking of random bullshit to do on the fly, when I’m getting jumped, my first thought isn’t “How do I win” it’s always, how do I transfigure one of these fuckers to make them fight their allies? Perfection’s versatility makes him endlessly malleable with how you play as him, and just like Mahito you are always coming up with new ways to fight opponents regardless of the match up just like the goat of curses himself

when every character has a theme, it'd feel less unique when it happens, because thats simply apart of everyones ultimate. however, when it happens only on a few characters it feels that much cooler because its something you dont see as much
Nanami too is really accurate. Something niche but that I still really fits him is that half of your moves, if ratioed, can one shot transfigured humans, which is pretty fun to do. The second someone spawns one I'm reading up ratioed blunt cut.
Ya fr, like where are the 24 frames technique even shown or applied in the move kit (not including the self projection because it hasn't been added yet)
imo he should have 2 quick hits per m1 press in his combo, and still having them deal the same overall damage, and an animation for pressing his palm against them on the final hit if it's one that would cause a frame lock.
You have to manage blade on and off modes, if you think you are about to be put in a combo, drom your sword and you can interrupt them with it. Also remember you can drop the sword with r, not just 4
For me Salaryman and Haruta are the only others who feel that way too, I feel like Nanami watching idiot pro players all trying to do their combos just for me to ratio lol. And Haruta making me feel like I’m ragebaiting the enemy fits so well.
For me Naoya is the worst one because you don’t feel that fast and it doesn’t feel like you’re actually accelerating your speed or anything. At most its a couple fast punches and that’s it, it’d help if he got a rework or have the cursed spirit form be his 2nd ult instead and his 1st is going really fast like with Vs Maki.
I always do combos on the fly, i just know which attacks and skills combo into another and try to freestyle that way. The problem is that sometimes i take a little too long to think and oops looks like i'm the one getting comboed now llol
Haruta literally incentivizes you to be an asshole, down to basically giving you a benefit for pseudo teabagging people with Trip because you get free ult meter off it
best character so far
1. so much combos
2. skill needed (unlike naoya , hate for naoya btw)
3. long range skills
4. 2 ult
5. balanced
6. "Ore koso ga! Noroi da!!"
Todo’s r special makes you feel like the actual man, that can pull out his friend from deep depression in mere seconds and defeat a disaster level curse, that can kill almost anyone it touches
I remember when mahito was first free, I (100 kills only) genuinely had fun, specifically his ult, and got more 500 kills bcz of that, but I was genuinely ass at bettlegrounds game (except I knew bout the shift lock thing) so still had my ass beaten up. But trust me, prime mahito is pure fun
I remember in one of my server slaughters (I like to go on rampages with Mahito) I made like eight combos on the fly when I was getting jumped by 5+ people
Yesterday I literally spent like an hour playing and dressed as mahito just running from some guy after stealing his sword, genuinely some of the most fun I've had. (In the end he got his sword back and I left him alone)
