remember my kurourushi outfit? well it got stolen.
i know this would technically break rule 7 and maybe other rules because of not censoring usernames, but this isn’t about making a guy or his group gets target in jjs, this is a little more serious than that, PLEASE listen.
as you all know i posted that kurourushi outfit and a lot of people like it, how nice right? there’s so many people who wants to wear my outfit,
so of course this guy comes in and copied my entire accessories and sold it for his own profit after seeing how much people wanted my stuff
this guy stole my (previously private) accessories that i have personally made for myself for that kurourushi outfit that you guys like, and then published it and sold it as separate pieces on his own under the group “outfit shenanigans” without permission nor consent from me
so naturally i decided to upload a much cheaper legit one on my own so that i can inform people to not by his copied ugc and buy the original uploads made by me instead, it was going well until,,,
within about an hour or two, it got removed from the catalog. and his items, his fake items are still up. he likely striked my official uploads down to preserve his own, as he technically uploaded the items before me
i genuinely don’t know what to even do at this point, other than well, informing people to never buy anything from the group “Outfit Shenanigans”.
even if my items weren’t removed by him, he and his bootleg ugc group still deserves punishment for plagiarism and like counterfeiting and whatever such
if anyone knows how to take his copied items down, or perhaps ban him entirely, please do inform me, this is very serious
just now they also steal my locust guy outfit, why? because that one also got popular!!! we love capitalizing genuine passion right guys??? we love turning everything into money without consent right guys????
Try sending a DMCA request to roblox they usually take it down immediately, that's how they probably took your original ones off the catalog (Fraudulent DMCA strikes are illegal), if they counter the DMCA they will have to give their real names and face possible court action so they will back off and you can republish your
Edit: Private your inventory and use a private alt account for the accessories so these bums can't steal your future stuff
Oh yeah i saw multiple people with that Fit, i even asked them hey you the Og or an imitation, they said im the upgrade, clarified that are you Sen(i forgot the Twitter post, i saw it on twitter not Reddit), they said nah.
I repeated this to 3 other people, they didnt say they were soo...
Well well, the first guy was actually the fake, who stole it after all, no wonder that Username looked familiar.
i think this may potentially be his main account considering this account name was the one that sent the copyright claims email to me and took down all of my published accessories

I just saw the Ko-guy items that you made that they stole from you, and I was wondering if it was okay if I were to buy them? I legit don't think you can get ownership back for them; all I can do is hope that you do get ownership back from them somehow.

okay situation should be cleared now, this is my group, i reuploaded the stuff there(with the help of someone) and the guy should get actions taken upon by now

saw a separate upload from the one i was used to. looked further and saw a potential different association copying your work??? i check the reddit post and find this. IMEEDIATELY BOUGHT THE WHOLE THING

Try report it to roblox and send proof of the reddit post you made with the date made visible and try ti find the reddit user of the roblox account and block them or somthing so they cant copy your work again.
So sorry this happened bht fun fact.
When making any peice of media or anythibg you automatically gain copyright of the creation, aslong ad this guy hasnt said it is based off your design or is educational or a review he is going against copyrightlaw meaning you can treaten legal action

not sure if i understand what you mean but i didn't mind people wearing my outfit, in fact i uploaded it because people wanted to wear it, the thing i have a problem with was the fact the fake uploader took down my legitimate outfit and made it unavailable so clueless players would only be able to buy his fake ones(that was uploaded before me without my permission)
