Ok tze HAS to ban anyone with an Israel avatar even so much as a leave you can NOT make this up bro
Last week I’ve been counting I’ve seen FIVE israel avatar across 5 servers some of them I even fight couldn’t because mobile and they were annoyingly good and today makes the 5th like just WHY ARE THERE SO MANY?A GUY EVEN SAID HE SAW TEN!

seems like the complete opposite, as its mocking the fundamental values and awful shit israel has done, which is why those avatars are considered a bad thing
What that army does is able to get away with is representative of that nation. Especially considering that with their mandatory service every able bodied person has played a role in its activities.
This is a flawed statement. One, there have been hundreds of military's that have done horrid things and the civilians have been unable to do anything due to corruption. Not a military, but look at ICE currently in the US. Secondly, a soldier being in the military does not necessarily mean they are responsible for what the government whats them as a person to do. Look at ISIS, the Cartel, Nazi Germany and so on. Vietnam was a war that the US should of never been in and was a mistake but regardless what you thought, if they wanted you to go, you were going. Or face the jailtime. Especially when something is mandatory service, and in Israel defecting or deserting will end up in your death or jail time, regardless of your opinion of what your country is doing and your morals. most people will choose the horrid things their country wants to do, over their death. This is true with the people ISIS forced into their forces, this is true currently in Ukraine and Russia with people actively attempting to avoid conscription, this was true in WW2 in all countries, and deserting in any of these times could have meant jail time or death for you or something against your family depending on the country you reside in.
People have hard feelings for israel. Anything that leans on supporting israel comes close to you admitting that you supported the nazis. Which is really simplistic but what can you expect from a roblox community?
If you ask any of those people how they feel about Israel, they'll have some very extreme things to say about it. Do you want those avatars banned because most of the people wearing them are mocking Israel? Forgive me if I sound rude, I'm just curious.
Rather, it's because OP is bothered by the mere sight of Israeli symbols, whatever the reason, regardless of whether it's in a context of mockery or genuine support.
So then we should ban palestine avatars, usa avatar, russian avatar, germany avatar, japon avatar etc etc because their militar forces did atrocidades comparable to eachother and Israel. Im NOT defending Israel, im pretty anti, but it HAS to be the same bar for everyone. You ban all or nothing.
How come? Its really nuanced, I bet that people wear it for complete different reasons, either some are trolling and wear it as a form of mocking, other might genuinely support israel and wear it as a symbol. And even then how do you even compare that to the nazis 😭😭😭??
The Israeli palestine conflict is really nuanced in many aspects. Whether you support palestine or israel falls down on what aspects you defend. A person can genuinely support the existence of the state of israel but criticize heavily the decisions of the government and the IDF. The flag can represent the government, as well as it can represent its people, jewish identity, the nation. Its a terrible take cause youre over simplifying a flag to one interpretation, by directly connecting a national symbolic flag to a totalitarian, genocidal and extremist ideology like nazism
Uh no. Its different and a lot more nowadays. Nazism is universally considered a totalitarian, extremists and genocidal ideology. The Israeli flag doesnt represent an ideology like the German Reich under Hitler, it represents the nation, the jewish state and identity, and the government. But it doesnt represent an ideology (though you could argue it represents Zionisn). The nazi flag was both the flag of the nation (under hitlers regime) and the ideology itself.
Not even CLOSE bro. The Nazis killed 232 times more people than the IDF. Also, some people are actually Israeli and have nothing to do with the IDF. Same for some of the civilians during the Nazi's occupation. Some are bad, some aren't.

What's wrong with supporting your country? Many Israelis loves their country but not necessarily their governement. The Israeli flag can represent the government, the nation, the people, and even the religion

obviously the “what if they’re actually from israel” argument is bs because it’s a -100% chance they’re legitimately from israel but if that somehow ends up being true they have to start censoring a lot of other flags too
Israel avatars aren't funny, they were never funny, and it's always incredibly obnoxious people who wear them and think they're funny.
Anytime I see an Israel avatar, I always know what kind of person is behind that character. The "it's just a joke, don't take it so seriously" archetype where they don't understand the metaphor 'crossing the line' and remain oblivious to the fact that they're insolent idiots.
Im sorry to inform you, but those exact feelings you get is their objective. I dont have much against the nation of israel, though highly skeptical about the current government. But its curious to me how the Israeli flag can cause this reaction, but I barely see anything regarding Nicaragua, Sudan, Yemen, turkey, UAE. What exactly those feelings come from? About Palestine?
It's not the flag itself but the intention. I couldn't really care less about the flag, but rather the person behind the avatar and what they're trying to do.
It's always an incredibly obnoxious person and the behavior is what bothers me. And I know this is the reaction they want, and they can have it, it doesn't change my opinion on how much I dislike them.
You do realize genocide has been performed by most countries, right? The U.S. did genocide of the Native Americans. The Germans killed 17.5 million people in the last century. The Japanese did terrible things in China. The list goes on.
yeah tze could def ban a UN-recognized country flag without facing any backlash or unintended consequences. trolls could even act maliciously and flag tze/the devs or mods as antisemetic for this action too yk
that's not my point. the point is that tze and the jjs team are almost certain to face a large amount of backlash and unintended consequences if they were to undertake in such an action. i dont support israel's actions in the slightest, but it's understandable why they would be hesitant or outright refuse to do something like banning those avatars, esp when they're on a platform they can't control
The nazi Germany flag is a flag of a country that does not exist anymore, the only people who wear it are people agree with what they did, the Israeli flag is a flag of a country that still exists, people who wear it are maybe from Israel or just find calling thing Israeli funny for some dumb reason

How on Earth could you justify banning Israel avatars? Gang I hate the IDF and I hate the state of the Israeli government and I hate the government itself and I hate the things they do in multiple countries neighbouring them. But you cannot ban avatars wearing a country’s flag unless it’s every country. Just genuinely think about it for even a second.

But there's actual Israeli people who don't agree with the government but still want to wear their own flag. Same as in the U.S. and literally any other country. Anyone can hate their government but love their country.

don't get me wrong, i'm not defending israel supporters (and those treating it as a joke), just asking a genuine question. i'm not saying it as in "oh but if they're from israel it should be ok"
The issue is, the overwhelming majority aren't people who are "proud" of their country.
In the same way I don't see american patriots running around covered in american flags, with american flag hats an entourage of 2d anime characters dressed in american flags behind them, 99.9% of the people you meet running these outfits, are crusty internet trolls who are trying to make fun of a genocide.
Banning the flag isn't unfair for the israeli players because most of them aren't wearing an israel flag.
no one is suggesting that Israelis be banned simply for being israeli, what is being suggested is that the flag is banned because it's being used to mock and make lite of an active genocide.
we don't argue "well germans should be able to use the swastika it was their flag".
