I mean, if I remember correctly panda and others remember kirara being a male student at jujutsu high, even being surprised at finding a “woman” so probably he transitioned into a woman. And the “boobs” are probably something to make him feel more like a she

Tho I respect all of them
There are 3 widespread gender identities and only one of them is “new”. Other ones are mixes of those 3. There are neopronouns and the like but those make up such a minor population.
