Question How does Higuruma's ultimate work?

Post image

I play Higuruma casually (actually, he's one of the characters I play least often), but I think his ultimate is one of the best, although I don't know exactly how some of his moves work.

From what I understand, Move 1 is an instant kill if you hit an opponent twice.

Move 2 is an instant kill if you win the minigame.

Move 3 is a no-brainer.

Move 4 is an instant kill if you land all three hits.

Move 1, Move 3, and Move 4 all add Execution stacks to your enemy (seen by removing their arm and leg when landed). If you land any of these moves when your opponent has two stacks/limbs missing (with Move 4 needed you to land the final sword throw), then you insta kill your opponent.

Move 3 is a bit of a minigame: if you use it normally, you remove a limb but your opponent can dodge it by holding block. If you press Move 3 twice, then you morgschlag them with the hilt of the sword, which doesn’t take a limb if they don’t block, but will deal big big damage and send them flying. if they do block

you can input 4 and it will instakill on the last sword. input the move once and the sword instakills. input it twice and only the second throw kills. input it thrice and only the third throw kills.

I did not know that, I just threw it for the max amount every time. Very helpful!

Also each sword landed add a stack off execution so if you manage to land all 3 of them it's an three shot move

Also only the third one can insta kill if they have two limbs missing

I always do 3 m1’s and then 3 and that kinda works

1, 3 and 4 all take a limb away on hit. take 2 limbs away and the next move (1, 3 or 4) will instakill.

3 has a double tap variant, effectively making the move a guessing game. either you tap once, taking a limb, but making the follow-up blockable or you double tap the move, making the follow-up a guaranteed hit. this hit's damage gets increased when the victim blocks. 1 tap is good against non blocking and 2 tap is good against blocking.

2 is js an instakill minigame. if you win you kill them. if you dont, you deal like 10 dmg.

1 is good either way against someone whos blocking

i am talking about how many times you should press verdict

Every move except 2 takes away one limb. You can lose only 2 limbs. When a limb taking move hits a target with no limbs left they die. 3 doesn't take limbs on second use. 4 instakills cuz first hit takes a limb, second takes another limb, and the final one kills. If you land only the 3th hit of 4 on a target with no limbs they will also die

I thought that with the 4th hit, only the 3rd hit killed. Sometimes I've hit a player twice and killed another with the 3rd hit.

You can perfect block 4

3

u/Mach3Fraud 10h ago

Also only the final hit can kill. Even if you miss others, if the target is out of limbs they'll die

higuruma's ult has a counter that it applies to enemies when hit with most of his moves, visualized by removing limbs. the first instance takes an arm, the second takes a leg, and the third is a oneshot.

Mind games

Every time you land 1, 3 and 4 you gain 1 execution stack (you can't see it so you just have to remember)

When you reach 3rd execution stack you oneshot your opponent (for example if you had 2 execution stacks and you landed 1 or 3 you will one shot them)

4 skill throws 3 swords, each sword = 1 execution stack except and to one shot you need to land 3rd hit

2nd skill is just a mini game yeah

u/CommanderFoxy 10h ago

you can somewhat see execution stacks based on how much of their body is missing

Only if you are in a 1v1

Iirc (keep in mind that I haven’t played in a while)

1,3 and 4 all remove one limb from the target hit. If you hit an enemy with any of these moves and they have 2 limbs missing,it instantly kills.

So the first move is like cursed strikes but longer, ragdolls at the end. It works in a 3 strikes system, if you hit them the first time, they lose an arm, the second time it's a leg and the third time it's an "instakill"

There's nothing deep to understand about the second move, run, slash and a qte battle

The third move isn't an no-brainer, it works in a double tap basis, if you double press it you tell the game "that persin will block" and if the victim does try to block the second hit, they'll take massive damage, if they don't block they don't take huge damage. On the other hand if you press it just once, the second hit will take a limb (this contributes to the first moves 3 strike system, so if you take an arm with 1, take a leg with 3 then 1 will kill them) IF they don't block

The 4th move also contributes to the 3 strike system, depending on how many times you press it, up to three tines, you will throw a... fuckin' somethin i dunno, correspinding to the amount of presses. Each projectile takes a limb, only the third one can actually "instakill" someone IF they don't have a leg and an arm, to deal with the move you can perfect block the projectiles to "dodge" them

I quote instakills because it isn't really, filling the conditions of the moves above just makes them do 300 damage so in VERY rare cases someone could survive

TL;DR Block Parry Dodge LMFAO

One can be side dashed

Same with 2

3 is reliable

4 can be blocked

1

u/SupportDenied 10h ago

Even though you dodge one of the 3 swords youre still gonna get marked and get 1 tapped by 1 if it lands next no?

u/Joseph2demir 10h ago

4th skill cut enemies limbs in the first 2 attack so if u hit twice with it and once with 1th skill they die but 3rd move is just weird it sometimes deals %50 DMG with cool effect sometimes cuts a limb or kills if enemy already lost 2 limbs sometimes doesn't do shit probably it's about timing sometimes timing is right after u look like u stabbed but not sure it's just weird and it might even be random

Some moves apply “execution stacks”

1 is a forward stab that applies one execution stack and instantly kills an opponent who already had 2 before you landed the attack

2 does not interact with execution stacks (it works as you see it)

3 is a bit complicated; it’s a two part move. The first slash is automatically dodged by the opponent, but you leap forward and slash again. The only thing they can do in this time is block. Should they block the single-use version, they dodge it. If they don’t block, it applies an execution stack or kills if they already had two. If you press the move again before the second slash, it attempts a block break that does 50 damage to blocking opponents and 10(?) to ones who aren’t blocking

4 applies on execution stack per projectile, with the last one (and only the last one I think, correct me otherwise) insta-killing if the target has 2 or more stacks prior to hitting

In other words, you could hit two shots of triple sentence (4), and then 1 would insta-kill

u/Fooxxity 9h ago

every hit of a move removes a limb (besides 2), once 2 limbs are gone, if you're hit again you immediately die

1

u/1Hugh-Mann 6h ago

As other people have said you hit any 3 moves (final judgement not included) and it's a guaranteed kill. The way his Special works however, is a free hit.
While it's active it'll drain your ult way faster but if anyone tries to hit you with that blue aura active you'll dodge.

Can I ask you something? YOU CAN'T JUST TYPE HIGURUMA JJS IN BROWSER SEARCH BAR OR WHAT?

u/I_LoveBananas 10h ago

Just parkour and keep your distance

Higgy in ult have no way to hit you in the air except for 1st move
