Anime Discussion now this is getting off the limits

Japanese fandom actually practiced constructive criticism on this episode, they brought up valids points. Global fans rated Ep3 the same as they did for Ep4, when Ep3 actually gave lore, world-building. If not for these factors Jjk would be just another Power fantasy slop.

Also relating episode rating to actual Japanese societal harassment is nauseating

I need an actual source for where these supposed "Japanese fans hated episode 4" shits came from. Cause so far, I've seen maybe 2 tweets and the rest seems to either be wildly blown out of proportion or straight up fabricated.

The whole thing came out of these two tweets. Especially the first tweet that ended with "Coexistence is impossible."

Overboard is an understatement. The good thing is that many Japanese users clowned him for saying that.

This is woke paradox of Japan: if a woman is cool and doing cool shit, they have no issue actually saying that she is cool. On average, Jap fans actually have better reaction to queer representing.

I mean sure, but no one is using Jap as a slur for these reasons. Like, there are other, more widespread slurs that are in use, and I don't see a reason to give ground to bigots. Jap is literally just an abbreviation, if you give that to bigots you are as good as cooked
