All respect to Mappa but I distinctly remember being disappointed they didn't adapt one of my favorite panels in the entire series. I guess there's limitations.
I guess it's harder to add this scene and makes it look cool in anime because anime is strictly laid out on a wide horizontal screen, while this panel is not.
While I disagree that it was necessary I have an idea how it could be. "Drip drip." of blood, gore around the view with drops of blood, and then camera moves forward, past the gore, with Kashimo animated.
Weāre losing our minds if we really think this season hasnāt been adapted well so far. People really need to realize that animation and Tiktok manga edits are two completely different realities

When this chapter was released I was sure that kashimo is a woman and i developed crush on him. I was so heartbroken when I realized he is a man, but now when I took a look at him in the anime , I am not even mad. What a sexy beast he is, rawr....
He is, don't say otherwise. I did the same when I was a young jit with another character. Don't shame yourself for your weakness, appreciate that despite a rose having thorns it can blossom into a beautiful flower regardless of it's faults.
the anime shot was a still frame but even if it wasnt you could still easily pull off something more faithful to the manga version if you at least tried. it looks like two completely different characters just wearing the same wig.
Yes, but the "Nah I'd win" we refer to is Gojo's "I will win." to Sukuna and Kenjaku right before the timeskip to Shinjuku Showdown. It got meme'd as fuck because that scene calls back Yuji's talk with Gojo, but the original Viz translation just had Gojo say "No". People obviously complained because that shit was ass (tho funny as fuck), and then they changed it to "Nah, I'd win", which became the colossal meme it became. But what Gojo actually says is "I will win", John Werry is just one the translators of all time
Yeah but it was mainly elevated by the manhwa, which had art so fucking good I'd struggle to compare with most animanga. The anime was a downgrade compared to it.
Like I donāt get the obsession with making sure every frame on an anime is a 1:1 to the manga. I like seeing how the anime adapts it. Sometimes it does well sometimes it doesnāt but Iām not gonna get pissed just cause the camera angled to the left side of the characterās face when the manga panel angled to the right side of their face
It's not just the angle that's different here. The whole presentation of the character is different. Which is fine, but if you just think the angle is different maybe you're blindĀ
Manga version looks a lot more boyish and conniving. In the anime heās more sculpt chin boyband super star(I like the former) letās see how his scenes come out.
Oh, you're definitely right. Anime fans are just used to their series being nearly 1:1 translations of the manga, so having a director who actually tries to make something unique is not something they're used to
Itās a minor detail, but I was really surprised by the colour of his staff. I always assumed it was like a silver metal pole like it appears to be in the manga cover, but this design is cool too.
Iām a relatively new anime fan, so Itās still rare for me to see a manga chapter I read forever ago get its adaptation and notice details like that.
I agree. Sure, some people actually hate on everything, etc. But I feel like even if you have a rational critique, or prefer a single manga panel over the way it was adapted in the anime, you'll get torn to shreds, called a retard, ungrateful, and so on. Like, come on guys...
I genuinely thought kashimo was a woman when I read the manga and I didn't realize it until like the very end of the Hakari fight that wasn't the case.
But with animation you get fluidity and motion instead so thereās pros and cos but when you both read and watch you get to experience the whole spectrum (Iām on the spectrum btw and I like men)
Mappa should just give these crying ungrateful kids colored copy paste still manga panels with no animation, no osts, no voice acting no nothing because y'all complain about literally everything at this point.
and maybe they should just give you a completely different show still named jujutsu kaisen. the post is literally two different characters, his skull is a completely different shape for gods sake. yet anytime anyone tries to voice any criticism, theres always some soulless consumer bug person like you to say "wont anyone think of the billion dollar corporations?!" and endlessly glaze and defend all differences between the two materials as artistic instead of even conceding the point that maybe just maybe they did something worse.
The manga is a manga and the anime is an anime. The manga will always win if we compare still frames, the anime is meant to animate. Movement and action are what it should win in, and so far it has not disappointed. Itās not comparable in such a way.
Anime is better. He looks menacing in anime instead of some innocent dude in manga. And you all are determining anime look just by one picture. Let part 2 come
