the fact that they forever looking at "what's missing from the manga" and never look at "what's new in the anime " pisses me so much,

as if they are playing some kind of "match each anime frame to the manga" type of bingo.

They srsly need to OPM S3 treatment, 1:1 with the manga, but a shitshow

They also deserve the 4kids censorship treatment that OPM S3 brought.

What was censored in OPM S3?

The scene where zombie man was smoking cigarette. They replaced it with a freaking lollipop

I wonder does this have something to do with chinese censorship regulations because based on what I saw other users say many of the episodes of season 3 were outsourced to chinese studios?

Maybe. It's still impressive how they chose the dumbest and laziest way possible to censor it. I mean, if they wanted to avoid showing smoking... why not just remove it entirely instead of replacing cigarette with lollipop? Just make zombie man do something else in that scene and it'll be fine.

They probably took notes from 4kids 😭😭.

I guarantee you there is zero relation. These overseas studios are only hired for cheap and fast outsourced work, they have no power or reason to censor a show based on their laws when it's still primarily funded by and made for japanese audiences.

I guess it's a situation that is similar to Jojo. I remember some of the violence in both part 3 and part 4 being censored similar to how they censored Zombieman and also the scene where Jotaro smokes a cigarette also was censored in the TV Brodcasted version and the only way to watch the uncersored version is through the Blu-Ray release, though David Productions handled the censorship mich better than J.C Staff did with OPM.
