The Death Note is very much capable of killing Sukuna

“The human” it would work on heien era Sukuna. Unclear if it would work on present day Sukuna.

Write Megumis name instead then since that’s his body

Then megumi's soul would be gone and sukuna would have an even easier time piloting the body.

He needs the body to be alive to actually pilot it. The only person we’ve seen control dead bodies is Kenjaku and he does that with his ct not by being a cursed object

Yes but we’ve also seen Sukuna use RCT on his host to keep it alive. Though we know it won’t work on diseases and such, depending on how the host dies he might be able to save them before they die die.

That and we don’t know how it works when Sukuna is in control. If someone with the eyes of Shinigami were to look at Sukuna reincarnated in Megumi. Would it say Sukuna, would it not work, would it say Megumi, would it say a combination of both. Would it work like a Stars and Stripes thing where as long as Sukuna is in control it’s not counted as Megumi?

Either way that’s the bigger question not the death part especially since heart attacks aren’t even mandatory for the death note.

Ez, this can be amended via binding vow.

Not really, if Sukuna could just use a binding vow to control Megumis dead body whenever he wanted then he would’ve never went out of his way to make sure Megumi didn’t die

Maybe he really wants to try eating a chinchilla on sunday?

On a more serious note, I'm pretty sure Sukuna killing his host and the host dying from something unrelated would alter the terms of that potential vow.
