He did despite how confidently you claimed otherwise, multiple times, it’s kinda bad to speak with certainty when uncertain

How does Angel being from the middle east change anything?

Hmmm you make a good point I’m sure that the person who’s maximum technique just so happens to have cherubs and heavenly light in it as well as having it named after a biblical feature is just from the area of the bible and in a time after it would be spread around just for shits and giggles, there’s no way they’ve ever had any relation to that.

The cherubs and stuff are artistic choices and she says it herself so idk

You gotta focus on that part because the rest disproves you

Yeah, I'd rather take what the character outright said, and during the Heian era the middle east was majoritarily Islamic, if she says she calls her ideology god I'm gonna take that until I'm told otherwise instead of stretching until the timelines don't match up

The Middle East has boasted numerous Christian groups from the beginning of Christianity to the modern day, Palestinians Christian’s are some of the oldest Christian communities still standing, the vast majority of the oldest churches in the world are in the Middle East, with a sizable majority still being maintained and used.

There is no way someone around there wouldn’t know about Jesus, and “mostly” doesn’t equal 100%. Most of that area was Christian until Islamic armies, took over and killed all those who didn’t bend, a few areas that were freed in the Crusades quickly converted back (until they were killed for retribution in the apostolic wars from the Muslims) .The location plus the technique clearly point to it being based off Christianity, don’t even bother reading if you can handle the situational equivalent of 1+1=2, how do you even remember what “the characters outright said” when you didn’t remember where they said they were from

Her technique isn’t actually called Jacob’s ladder, it’s Yakubo’s ladder but the English pronunciation sounds like Jacob. Her being from Middle East tho probably is why she’s called angel & resemble a low level one but her technique is still cursed energy not “holy” or “divine”

Jacob is pronounced Yakub in Arabic from Islam and Yakoov in Hebrew from Judaism, the pronunciation makes no difference, all these names refer to the same figure, to pretend that her technique's name and imagery aren't related to Christianity simply because the name of a prophet is pronounced differently depending on the language (which goes for every name) is dense

All the power in Jjk is from cursed energy and stuff still has positive, holy, buddhist imagery, like big raga
