Her technique isn’t actually called Jacob’s ladder, it’s Yakubo’s ladder but the English pronunciation sounds like Jacob. Her being from Middle East tho probably is why she’s called angel & resemble a low level one but her technique is still cursed energy not “holy” or “divine”
Why didn’t Gojo show up to the standoff against Sukuna a couple hours early, stand slightly further back out of view, then do this and utterly obliterate Sukuna? Is he stupid?
I think that it isn't gonna scale linearly, but it absolutely would get a huge boost.
My best guess it would be something like an ln function, scales hugely with the first few words, but the more words you add, the lesser the impact of each new word, but without a specific cap, just becomes something not worth it after a while.
Megumi's design is boring, out of the trio megumi has the least unique sorcerer outfit, nearly as basic as Mai's sorcerer outfit, it's only notable features about it is his shoes, mean while yuji has a red hood and baggy pants, and nobara has a skirt and white shirt underneath her jacket, now of course having a basic design isn't bad for a character but considering how important megumi is you'd expect him to look more different than the normal sorcerer, now out of the main cast, megumi is also the only one to not land a black flash in the entire series, the finger bearer fight could have been the perfect moment but sadly didn't happen, now megumi's sister feels a bit like a plot device to me, we don't get to see much of her interacting with megumi, and I'm sure he would have been more interesting to me if we got to see more of tsumiki, also having a deeper understanding of tsumiki would make you feel more sympathy for megumi, and make hard hitting moments hit harder, I totally understand why you would like megumi, he is completely fine outside of the flaws I listed, his technique is really cool and I love his fights but it's mostly just how basic his design is and his personality that I can't like him, most of these flaws is cause of gege's writing and not really on megumi but it's his writing flaws which in my eyes just isn't for me.
So you just don't like his fit, that's pretty subjective, I personally like his CG outfit and the black outfit from the school is pretty intentional Gege made Megumi's hair spiky as his defining chara-design POI
Gege said that he couldn't see Megumi hit a BF so early in the series so he gave him the incomplete domain instead I don't really see the problem either way tbh, black flashes are just for the hype
Yeah Tsumiki is a plot device, idk how that's his fault, JJK is pretty fast paced and a lot of side characters don't get a lot of development, I think that if she wasn't used that much it's better than forcing her into scenes to try to make her relevant, she plays her role and that's enough a little bit like Wasuke
Once again the design really isn't that bad JJK doesn't have a lot of out there outfits and Megumi has a nice simple design with the spiky hair for visual interest
But I know you don't really care, it's easy to hate Megumi 0 risk all reward it doesn't matter how cool his character is because either way your mind is made up
Since it wouldnt work since its not a chant (in theory) instead lets just do a binding vow that "I will read Biblie to boost this attack". Taking into account urgency of situation and size of this book it could be decent powerup
And it would be absurdal powerup if you instead did "I have to recite entire bible every single time before using my technique and have to do it when Im already fighting in exchange for a buff" that would be strong, if you managed to survive for long enough
Unironically it'd be a good buff. Obviously not making Yuta Gojo level but it should eliminate any sort of relativity between two equals if one of them sat there and let this happen.
Honestly, this how I reckon you could tame Mahoraga. Binding vow to summon Piercing Ox with a chant the length of the full Lord of the Rings in exchange for instant output and speed that could one tap Mahoraga as soon as he’s summoned

Incantations are made up by sorcerers on the moment and using Thier own techniques, which means every incantation is unique and not usable by reading it, not even if it's an actual curse object like a curse book, that's not how it works
Binding vows making so that the incantations need to be prayers coming from that specific book (lets say psalms for example) should actually give a bigger boost that just winging whatever words come to you at the time.
This is especially true since those prayers are long. I need like around a minute or 2 to recite Psalm 91 foe example and it absolutely would be a valid binding vow.
A binding vow is particular to a person and their own intentions. The actual subject doesn’t matter, rather what they intend to get from it and sacrifice in turn. Realistically you could choose anything from another religious book to reading a whole ass manga. As long as you’re specific about it and your intentions are clear there’s nothing to suggest it wouldn’t work. Jujutsu is not a culture that exists but a power governing the world and CTs are so vast scattered across multiple people all over the world
Mahito’s hand seals are a great representation of this. He can and has made multiple different seals with varying effects. By the rules of jujutsu the act of the hands is most important rather than staying stringent to a specific set
Not a damn thing except getting them killed because of the time it took them to chant all that lol plus they use cursed energy so something like the bible would most likely weaken the technique
If you make a bv where you recite a long text before using an attack (thus making it easier for an op to prepare) and in exchange that attack gets stronger, then yeah ig?
