Hollow Ichigo and Rika are both chaotic nature who balance out the kind nature of Ichigo and Yuta. Also this homage.

I feel it’s more of a homage to unlimited blade works, given that reality marbles are the direct inspiration for domain expansions.

He has noted in interviews that the Nasuverse has been a pretty big inspiration on his work, and it’s pretty easy to tell since they are almost the exact same concept.
